  1. To convert ROL files to CMF files you need to have the SoundBlaster
  2. instrument files (SBI) or the Adlib instrument files (INS). 
  3. The command syntax is :

  5. ROL2CMF <ROL-file> <CMF-file> </Ippp | /Bppp> {option}
  6.  
  7. where items in < > must be specified 
  8.       items separated by | means either one of them must be specified 
  9.       items in { } are optional
  10.  
  11. <ROL-file>  :  name of the input ROL file
  12. <CMF-file>  :  name of the output CMF file
  13. /Ippp       :  path of the INS files
  14. /Bppp       :  path of the SBI files
  15.  
  16. {option} are 
  17. /Vnnn       :  nnn is the maximum volume level, default is 127
  18. /Pttt       :  ttt is the song title up to 31 characters
  19. /Cnnn       :  nnn is the system clock rate, default is 96Hz
  20. /Tnnn       :  nnn is the basic music tempo, default is the same as
  21.                the ROL file now being used.
