Notes for contents and use of this CD.
======================================
Contents
========
This Compact Disc Compilation contains the entire Amos PD Library as at 11th July
1994. This includes disks numbers 1 to 621 inclusive, however some of the original
disks were removed from the library by Sandra Sharkey prior to the library being
handed over to Len and Anne Tucker. These disks were removed for various reasons,
ie. copyrights or repetitive nature of contents. Weird Science has used their
best efforts to locate the missing disks and include any that do not fall foul of
copyright rules.
The Compact Disc includes..........

Use of the Compact Disc
=======================
The disks on this Compact Disc will not run directly from the disc. It is
neccessary to copy them of onto floppy disks, rename the disk to the name in
the 'DiskNames' file and 'INSTALL' the disk to make it autoboot.
The main aim of the disc is to provide the most complete source of Amos code
available in the world to date. All of the '.AMOS' files will load directly
Amos allowing you to dissect it and learn from the experience of others.
On CD machines without floppy drives (CD32) it is possible to re-assign Df0:
to a remote machine using either Parnet or Sernet and the appropiate cable.
See the transfer drawer and the Parnet or Sernet drawers for more info.
The Totally Amos and Catalogue disks are also provided in DMS format and will
decompress to df0:, whether re-assign or fitted as standard.
The Catalogue disk will run directly from the CD.
