  7.              Welcome to the AMOS PUBLIC DOMAIN LIBRARY!

  13.  This  is a copy of the latest Catalogue disk with all the Amos PD and
  14. general PD included as well as SInTech Licenseware.
  15.  
  16.  We  have  now  included the entire Australian Amos PD collection into
  17. the main APD section of the Library.  This has boosted the APD section
  18. to  number APD 603.  Please take the time to find them in the relevant
  19. sections of the catalogue.  The descriptions are still brief as I have
  20. not  had  the  time to load each disk to see exactly what the programs
  21. are and have had to rely on program names for the time being.

  25. later adjusted by Len Tucker.

  39. New  disks  £2  each.   Updates  to  existing APD updates (green Amos PD
  40. label)  cost 75p each.  Please send the old disk for it to be updated to
  41. the  latest  version OF THE SAME PROGRAM!!  Please do not send Amos 1.34
  42. disks  for  Pro  updating  or  any  other  combination  as  it  leads to
  43. confusion.   (a  disk  labelled  Ams  Compiler 1.34 will be updated with
  44. Compiler  1.36  etc)  This  is not a method of making more money, but it
  45. makes a loss-making update service quicker and easier to keep on.

  47. The  update of Pro is the SECOND update as it locked up some machines at
  48. the last update.  It still comes up as V1.11 after updating, but it is a
  49. new  update.   There is no documentation as to what else has been fixed,
  50. if  anything.   Any  complaints  about  the short amount of time between
  51. updates should be directed to Europress!

  53. If  you  have the Amos Pro Compiler, then the updateto Amos Pro V2 is
  54. the latest update available.

  56. FINALLY!!! DO NOT SEND IN YOUR ORIGINAL EUROPRESS SYSTEM DISKS FOR
  57.            UPDATING! WE CANNOT GUARENTEE THEIR SAFETY WHILST IN
  58.            TRANSIT!!

  133.     VALLY PD, ESSEX COMPUTER SYSTEMS, BLITTERCHIPS OR LOAD CREST PD.
  134.     ALTERNATIVELY,  PD  SOFT  ARE  IN THE PROCESS OF SETTING UP A NEW
  135.     SCHEME

  145.    PROGRAMS  ARE  ACCEPTED.  SOME PROGRAMS ARE PUT ONTO THE `AMOS PROGS'
  146.    DISKS  AS  SOURCE  ONLY  IF  WE  FEEL  THAT  THIS  IS THE BEST WAY OF
  147.    DISTRIBUTING THEM.

  149.  Please choose an AMOS PD disk in exchange for your program should it be
  150. accepted,  this  will  save  on  administration  costs if done when your
  151. program is sent in.

  157.  We  also  produce  a  Bi-monthly disk magazine for all Amos enthusiasts
  158. called  'TOTALLY  AMOS'  This  is  the  only  disk  magazine approved by
  159. Europress  Software.  TA is crammed full of articles, tutorials, reviews
  160. of  AMOS  products,  programs,  routines, artwork, sound samples, screen
  161. effects,   letters,   hints,   tips,   Amos   for   Beginners,   readers
  162. Adverts.....and whatever else you want to see!

  164.  Send  SAE for details, or send for APD 341.  (normal APD price) This is
  165. a  PD  sample  issue  which  launched  TA  in  September  1991.  It is a
  166. full-value  issue  which gives an idea of what TA is all about.  Issue
  167. 16 is out now, Issue 17 is due in July.
