<p><font size="5"><b><i>Sequence Of Play</i></b></font></p>
<p><font color="#8080FF" size="3"><strong>1942: Campaign For
Malaya</strong></font><font size="3"> is basically a
two-player game. It is played in sequenced turns called
Game-Turns, during which Players move units on the map, have
combat, and attempt to achieve certain objectives. Victory is
based upon comparative strength losses levels and the capture
of Singapore at the end of the game, as well as taken
options.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Each of the 21 Game-Turns (for the Campaign
game) is split into two Player-Turns. Notice that the game
may end earlier if the Japanese captures Singapore (will
happen most often in fact). Each Player-Turn is divided into
Phases. All actions must be taken in proper sequence (the
game mechanisms controls this for you). The Player whose
Player-Turn is in progress is termed the Phasing Player. The
Japanese player always plays first, and deploys second. Each
Game-Turn proceeds as follows:</font></p>
