- The EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a system for describing a set of
- personality characteristics that would fit a certain job and then using them
- as a benchmark to test prospective employees with.
-
- MAROONED AGAIN is a text adventure games that puts you on an alien planet
- with a broken ship, a bunch of clones that only respond to two word commands
- and an alien ship that requires an entirely logical solution to make work.
- Be warned, when they say logical, they mean logical.

- Program Description:
-
- The EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a program the uses responses to a series
- of descriptive statements to determine an employers requirements for a
- position. It then tests employees/applicants for their suitability in that
- job. Based on the responses, EMS prints out a 5 page report on the
- personality outlined by the responses.
-
- The first part of this report includes rating the tested personality on a
- CLEP chart. EMS also rates the personality in terms of two factors implied
- by the test that have the greatest influence on the testee. The program then
- goes on to describe the individual's management style, decision making
- style, stamina (?) and personality characteristics.
-
- Finally, the individual is described in terms of performance factors and
- motivational and demotivational factors. These seem to be the factors that
- would cause you to like or dislike a job.
-
- This test purports to describe a person based on 30 questions, with a
- response range of 5 - this describes 'me' very well to 1 - this isn't 'me'.
- The biggest problem with this type of 'test' is that the answers are easily
- manipulated by the testee to create a pattern that may or may not be
- accurate. There are folks out there who will just eat this up, however basic
- and potentially inaccurate it may be.

- Program Description:
-
- MAROONED AGAIN is not your standard text adventure game. In the first place,
- its logical. It tells you this every time you try to do something illogical.
- The author tells you this at the beginning of the game. The basic plot is
- you are marooned on an alien planet with a broken spaceship and a bunch of
- retarded clones who can only respond to two word commands. There is hope
- however! Also on this planet is an alien spaceship that can be made to work
- with some minor repairs. All you have to do is fix the ship with your clones
- and take off.
