------------------------ 3-Ball Juggler ---------------------
Version 1.21
Make a backup copy of "3-Ball Juggler" before starting. If
you have a two floppy drive system, place the disk with "3-Ball
Juggler" and all its files on it into drive a. Place a new
formatted disk into drive b and type
copy a:*.* b:
All commands are ended by pressing the <Enter> key. If drive a
and b are not the same on your system and the "3-Ball Juggler"
disk only fits in b drive then just reverse the above
instructions. Put the original disk in a safe place and use the
copy to run "3-Ball Juggler".
To copy "3-Ball Juggler" to a hard drive make a directory
with
md jug
or any other directory name. Change to that directory with
cd jug
and copy all of the files on the original disk to the hard disk
with the command
copy a:*.*
(or "copy b:*.*" if the disk containing 3-Ball Juggler" is in
drive b).
To start "3-Ball Juggler" go to the drive and directory
containing the program and type "j <Enter>". You may optionally
start the program in the silent mode with "j -s". There are four
different jugglers available in the program. These can be
selected in the Setup menu or from the command line with "j -#"
where "#" is 1, 2, ... depending on the juggler desired. Both
switches can be combined. For example "j -s2" starts "3-Ball
Juggler" in the silent mode with juggler number 2.
Once inside the game at the main menu, press h or F1 for
more instructions. Each menu has its own help message. Be sure to
read them all.
In the lesson and trick menus, it is possible to turn the
tracing on or off by pressing F3. The tracing is the dots left
behind by the balls to show the path the balls take. When the
tracing is turned off, the dots on the screen stay behind until
the next screen but no new dots are painted. This allows you to
trace a portion of a trick or lesson.
As an example, go into the 3-in-1-hand Trick demo and turn
off the tracing. If there are still some dots on the screen,
restart the demo by pressing R. After the trick has started,
press F3 and watch the tracing for a couple seconds. Then press
F3 again and see that no new dots are painted (dot colors do not
change when a ball goes over them). You can use the F3 key to
capture the paths in any portion of a trick.
I hope you like "3-Ball Juggler" and will register it. See
the registration section of the main menu for a special offer on
"5-Ball Juggler".
