Simple Explanation Of Jiji's Egg Game
From Katyfraise at:
http://www.hayalab.cs.ritsumei.ac.jp:80/~jiji/welcome.html
to run: execute the file Jegg95.exe.
How to Play:
Push F3 on the keyboard to start the game, or to unpause the game.
Chickens at the top of the screen drop eggs of various colors. Help Jiji
the Cat earn a bag of eggs for himself by making sure the eggs all go
into appropriate baskets. Only one color per basket.
NOTE: on a 640 x 480 sized screen, the colors on the baskets are off
the bottom of the screen! Here is the order:
White Red Blue Yellow Green
By using the mouse pointer, click on the little wooden shelves, or on
the spaces that the shelves can fit into. Spare, unused shelves are
stored to the right. Click only where the shelves actually go, not where
they are stored when not in use. Five rules govern placement of the
shelves:
1) two shelves cannot be at the same level in two adjacent columns
otherwise their ends would overlap.
2) click on a shelf to make it return to the pile on the right.
3) click on the space where you want the shelf to go: a shelf from the
pile on the right will jump to the place you selected. Of course, if
there are no shelves to move, nothing will happen.
4) You cannot move a shelf if an egg is touching it and this includes
after the egg as rolled off the end. You also cannot install a shelf in a
space where an egg is falling through.
5) Eggs will always roll to the other end of the shelf after hitting the
shelf.
By placing ramps carefully, Jiji (and you) can make sure the eggs go in
the right baskets. You can only miss 10 times -no more!
If you put enough eggs into the baskets correctly, Jiji will win a whole
bag of tasty eggs as a reward!
If you do not put enough eggs into correct baskets, the Katyfraise, who
runs the farm, will only give Jiji one egg (for at least trying!)
That's all there is to it!
Good Luck!

About program
About the archive:
The archive this program has been repackaged in is different than the
one we originally obtained. The reason for the change is the original
contained three files with extended characters in the names and these
are very difficult to work with on English-based Windows 95. So we
renamed the program file to Jegg95.exe and removed the original help
file and documentation file. We have replaced the original
documentation file with this text file.
Due to limitations of the archiving tools at our disposal, we cannot
include the original three files. However, we have made available the
original archive on otakuworld.com (it is a self-extracting archive that
basically asks where you want to put the files then extracts the files. It
will then display one of the help files which is in Japanese). This
original archive is called JEGG956.EXE.
