  7. W3DXLV11.ZIP --> New maps for Wolfenstein 3-D (version 1.0, episode 1)
  8. WOLFMM.ZIP   --> New maps for Wolfenstein 3-D (version 1.0, episode 1)
  9. WOLF1.ZIP    --> This ZIP contains its own documentaion
  10. WOLFNPAC.ZIP --> New VSWAP.WL1 file for Wolfenstein 3-D (version 1.0, episode 1)

  13.     Wolfenstein 3-D contains 8 levels of action-packed adventure.  The ZIP
  14. files NAT_W3D, W3DXLV11, and WOLFMM contain alternate MAPHEAD.WL1 and
  15. MAPTEMP.WL1 files.  These two files are in version 1.0 of WOLF 3-D, but NOT in
  16. subsequent versions, therefore, all of these new levels will only work with
  17. VERSION 1.0 of the game.  If you don't have version 1.0, then try calling
  18.

  22. This board is an authorized distribution site of APOGEE games and has all the
  23. latest versions of their products, but they also still have version 1.0
  24. avaliable for download.

  29.     Once you've got your version 1.0 ready, make a new directory and copy
  30. all of the WOLF 3-D files into it.  Now unzip one of the first three ZIP files
  31. mentioned above and copy the new MAPHEAD.WL1 and MAPTEMP.WL1 files over the
  32. original ones.  You now have 8 NEW LEVELS of action and hell to go through.

  34.     The WOLFNPAC.ZIP doesn't change the original 8 levels, but it does
  35. have a new VSWAP.WL1 file which makes all of the brown guards look like PACMAN.
  36. Just make a new directory, copy all of the WOLF files into it, and copy the new
  37. VSWAP.WL1 over the original.

  39.     The WOLF1.ZIP file's installation is a bit more involved and it has
  40. its own instructions to guide you through the procedure to create another 16
  41. new levels of fun.

  46. All together, this makes 40 new levels of play.  And whether you use the
  47. original levels, or one of the optional maps included here, all you have to do
  48. is replace your current VSWAP.WL1 file with the one in the WOLFNPAC.ZIP and all
  49. of the brown guards will look like PACMAN.      HAVE FUN!!!

  52. P.S.  Don't forget to purchase the other episodes of Wolfenstein made by
  53. APOGEE themselves.  While these files give a lot of new levels to conquer, the
  54. remaining 5 episodes of Wolfenstein have lots of brand new enemies, weapons,
  55. and objects (not to mention a lot more digital sound effects) that just aren't
  56. avaliable in the shareware release.
