  1. Install Video for Windows 1.1
  2. This is the latest Runtime version of Microsoft Video for Windows and you
  3. need it to be able to watch the video clips on this disc. If you have an
  4. older version of Video for Windows, or if you haven't yet installed it,
  5. click on the Run button now to run the Setup program.
  6.  
  7. After installing it, you'll need to quit Windows and reboot.

  68. 24-bit 16 million colour TIF and BMP files into your own software.

  71. Autodesk Animator FLI Player
  72. There are two versions of the FLI animation player from Autodesk on this
  73. disc - AAPLAY.EXE for Dos and AAWIN.EXE. You can play back the animations
  74. on this CD using either of these two programs. They also allow you to
  75. experiment with different settings, such as animation speed, and add your
  76. own sound track (Windows only). No installation required - runs from CD.

  132. Painter requires a display driver with 256 or more colors, and it is 
  133. recommended that 386 Enhanced Mode be used (it will not run on a 286). 
  134. Large temporary files are created whilst manipulating images and for 
  135. this purpose 20Mb of free hard disk space is recommended. This is a 
  136. limited demo version with all print and save facilities removed.
  137. NOTE: On installation you will be asked for the source path. Enter this
  138. as D:\WINPROGS\PAINTER where D is the letter of your CD drive.

  141. Paint Shop Pro
  142. This is a very well known shareware graphics package and as such 
  143. appears here as a full version. As it is fairly small in size and 
  144. has many useful facilities including a variety of import and export 
  145. filters including BMP, DIB, GIF, IMG, JAS, MAC, MSP, PCX, PIC, RAS, 
  146. RLE, TGA, TIF and WPG. It will prove to be a valuable addition into 
  147. your windows desk top.

  152. PhotoLab is an image processing tool that allows you to view and modify
  153. digitized images on your PC. The program includes features such as
  154. print, zoom, rotate, mirror, flip, crop, negative image, resize, and

  156. conversion, adjustment of image color, brightness, contrast, and
  157. saturation, as well as HP ScanJet IIc scanner support.  The program
  158. reads and writes BMP, DIB, GIF, TGA and TIFF format images.
