  4. An Atari ST / Falcon Pinball game written by Volume 11 Software
  5. Development.

  9. This is just a short introduction: a more comprehensive README file can
  10. be found inside the game itself, by holding SHIFT when the quote of the
  11. day appears. Please read that message, it carries instructions for how
  12. to use the game.
  13.  
  14. A couple of things that are worth pointing out again: on a 512k machine
  15. you have to run it from an AUTO folder. To do this, create a folder
  16. called AUTO on the Starball disk, copy STARBALL.TOS into that folder,
  17. and rename STARBALL.TOS to STARBALL.PRG. Everyone else can run it from
  18. inside any folder on any drive.
  19.  
  20. For Falcon users, look at the main instructions for infomation on how to
  21. set up MODLIST.TXT to select the right soundtracker modules. An example
  22. file is provided, with lots of comments. Note that ALL of the Starball
  23. files must be present for the game to run.

  25. There are certain compatibility problems, and extra controls, and
  26. these are detailed fully in the main readme file.

  29. Sampled sound effects are available, but you will need to find a copy
  30. of the FX file, contained in STARBLFX.ZIP which should be available
  31. anywhere where the main game is. You MUST have an STe, TT or Falcon
  32. to attempt this or the game will crash!
