  1.                  Resolution

  3. The resolution of the output image in
  4. pixels-per-inch is set using the
  5. "Resolution ..." menu item.  A dialog
  6. will be opened from which the resolution
  7. can be specified by clicking boxes
  8. containing arrows to increment or
  9. decrement each digit.

  11. When the desired resolution is displayed,
  12. clicking on either "Apply" or "Done" will
  13. cause the new resolution to become
  14. active.  The Ghostscript commands which
  15. change the resolution will appear on the
  16. Ghostscript command line and the image
  17. window will be closed.

  19. The difference between "Apply" and "Done"
  20. is that "Done" closes the dialog, while
  21. "Apply" leaves it open for further input.

  23. Note that the resolution you select will
  24. only apply to the current device.  If the
  25. device is changed, the resolution for the
  26. new device will be the default value for
  27. that device.
