  3. When "PS Help" is selected (checked),
  4. Ghostscript help will be displayed in
  5. the form of PostScript images in the
  6. Image Window.  By default, Ghostscript
  7. help windows display ASCII text from the
  8. files "*.hlp" in the help directory.
  9.  
  10. The only advantage of PostScript help is
  11. aesthetic.  The PostScript help files
  12. take longer to display, especially the
  13. very first one, which must load the
  14. necessary fonts.  Subsequent help files
  15. will be displayed slightly faster.

  17. If you wish to display more than one
  18. PostScript help file at the same time,
  19. use the "Copy Image" menu item to copy
  20. the current help image before requesting
  21. the next help page.

  23. The PostScript help files are generated
  24. from the ASCII files by the utility
  25. program "hlptops.ttp".
