  3. Selecting the "Load Config" menu entry
  4. causes the ascii configuration file stgs.rc
  5. to be read and applied to Ghostscript. The
  6. configuration file contains information
  7. about window placement, which devices are
  8. included in the "Device" dialog, and which
  9. page sizes can be selected from the "Page
  10. Size" dialog.  See the sample configuration
  11. file for the format of entries needed to
  12. accomplish these tasks.

  14. The configuration file is normally read
  15. during Ghostscript's initialization.
  16. Ghostscript first searches in the directory
  17. specified by the HOME environment variable.
  18. If this variable is not set, the current
  19. directory is searched.  If no configuration
  20. file is found, internal defaults are used.
