  11. This is the first of the NEW support programs designed to replace
  12. existing QBBS utilities.
  13.  
  14. This program should be run from within the same folder as USERS.BBS
  15.  
  16. This program is new, and although many (literally !) hours have been
  17. spent testing it with normal and not so normal parameters, we cannot
  18. guarentee its performance, you use this at your own risk.
  19.  
  20. If during operation you are shown an alert box, then follow what it
  21. says, DO NOT PROCEED WITHOUT REINSTALLING ANY BACKUPS THAT HAVE BEEN
  22. CREATED.

  24. This program not only packs your USERS.BBS but also trims/appends the
  25. LASTREAD.BBS file if it's length is not correct.
  26.  
  27. To just tidy your LASTREAD.BBS file up, simply run the packer without
  28. any buttons selected on the front panel.
  29.  
  30. The program will create a LASTREAD.BBS if you have lost your old one.

  32. The Options
  33. ~~~~~~~~~~~

  35.  Delete Prior To Date       If selected then users who have not called
  36.                             on or after the date entered in the
  37.                             MM/DD/YY field will be deleted.
  38.                             NOTE the date format was chosen to match
  39.                             that used by QBBS.
  40.  
  41.  Prompt Before Delete       If selected then you will be promted to
  42.                             confirm you wish to delete a user.
  43.                             If when prompted you choose to quit then
  44.                             changes you have made so far will be made.
  45.  
  46.  Delete Users Marked For Deletion
  47.  
  48.                             If selected then users with the delete
  49.                             flag set will be deleted on compaction.
  50.  
  51.  Compact                    Compact the user base in accordance with
  52.                             the selected options.

  54.  Quit                       Quit :-)
