  23. This is a motion to set up the new echomail conference whose details are 
  24. listed above. A majority of at least  ten (10) votes or 2/3 of all given
  25. votes FOR the proposal (whichever number is higher) are required for the 
  26. motion to be granted. The members of NeST at the time of this motion are 
  27. each entitled to  one vote per  member. The voting  period is one month. 
  28. Nobody is required to vote. For the vote to be considered the SysOp must 
  29. have an entry in the NeSTList given in the proposal. If a SysOp has more 
  30. than one NeSTList entry  they will still  only be allowed one  vote. The 
  31. vote will be taken  via netmail and results will be posted one day after 
  32. the vote is finished with all votes publicly listed.

  34. The given final date means, all votes arriving at the vote-takers system
  35. before  or on  final date 11:59pm local  time are valid. All  votes that 
  36. arrive later are invalid and will not be counted.
