LogTool - JetMail/Semper/Binkley Logfile Utility

1. What does LogTool ?
----------------------
LogTool is a small utility which take care of the nerved sysop
with big logfiles. LogTool spitts the logfile in one file for
each day (the files created from LogTool are stored in a folder
with the name of the month, eg. JetMail.1 in fold er JANUARY for
all log entries of the 1st of january).
LogTool can process logfiles from JetMail and Binkley-Style
systems (eg. Semper, AutoFile, QuickBBS, JamBala, etc.)
2. What kind of soft-/hardware do i need to run LogTool ?
---------------------------------------------------------
Only an Atari Computer (ST/STE/TT/Falcon)a TOS higher than
1.04 (MagiC!, MultiTos and Geneva works too) and program which
creates the logfile ;)
3. The Configuration file
-------------------------
LogTool searches in the current path for a file called
LOGTOOL.CFG.
The following keywords area available in this file:
JETMAIL <name> specifies a JetMail Logfile called NAME
BINKLEY <name> specifies a Binkley-Style logfile called
NAME. This can be a Semper, AutoFile, etc.
logfile too.
Comments must start with a semicolon (;) or number sign (#)
in the FIRST column of a line. Empty lines will be ignored.
4. Command-Line Switches
----------------------------
The following Command-Line Switches are available:
-H shows a small help screen
-W suppress the keypress at the end of
the program. so you can use LogTool in
one of your batches
