  10. |   Now You're wondering what is FilesBBS Manager and what can it do for  |
  11. | me. Well, FilesBBS Manager was designed with the concept of creating a  |
  12. | GEM program that can be used to maintain your file areas on your BBS.   |
  13. | FilesBBS Manager was designed to work with any BBS program that         |
  14. | utilizes a FILES.BBS file.                                              |

  16. | FEATURES:                                                               |

  18. | 1. Mouse driven GEM interface, provides point & click operation.        |
  19. | 2. Supports Octopus BBS's OCTOPUS.CFG file, QuickBBS's FLSEARCH.CTL     |
  20. |    file, or you can use FilesBBS Manager's internal config option to    |
  21. |    set-up your file areas.                                              |
  22. | 3. CD-Rom Area Support.                                                 |
  23. | 4. Supports Octopus BBS's CDROM_??.CFG files.                           |
  24. | 5. Maximum Number of File Areas is only limited by the memory of your   |
  25. |    computer.                                                            |
  26. | 6. File counter allows you to increment foward or backward one record   |
  27. |    at a time, jump 10 foward or 10 backward, or jump to a record number |
  28. |    by clicking on the filenumber.                                       |
  29. | 7. Upload files one at a time or in groups up to 50 files. With this    |
  30. |    you can also designate a area to upload to without having to be      |
  31. |    currently in that area.                                              |
  32. | 8. Copy/Move files to different areas.                                  |
  33. | 9. File_ID.DIZ & *.UPL's can be searched for and viewed before          |
  34. |    replacing the old description.                                       |
  35. |10. List archive contents. Currently supported formats are: LZH, ARC,    |
  36. |    ZIP, ZOO & ARJ.                                                      |
  37. |11. Convert Archives. Currently you can convert LZH, ARC, ZIP, ZOO & ARJ |
  38. |    to ZIP, LZH or ARC.                                                  |
  39. |12. Sort Files.BBS files into Alphabetical order for one area or all     |
  40. |    areas.                                                               |
  41. |13. Search for files missing on disk that are in your Files.BBS file,    |
  42. |    will also search for files on disk that are not in your Files.BBS    |
  43. |    file and ask you if you want to upload them. Available in current    |
  44. |    working area or you can search all areas.                            |
  45. |14. Search for Entries in your Files.BBS file that are missing           |
  46. |    descriptions. Available in current working area or you can search    |
  47. |    all areas.                                                           |
  48. |15. Search for Files by keyword (Wildcards '*' *'?' supported) in        |
  49. |    current area or all areas can be searched.                           |
  50. |16. Search for Descriptions by keyword (Wildcards not supported) in      |
  51. |    current area or all areas can be searched.                           |
  52. |17. Supports multiple bracket types in Files.BBS file, currently         |
  53. |    supported formats are" '[ ]', '{ }', '( )' & '< >'.                  |
  54. |18. Help area's in each form for a quick explaination of commands.       |
  55. |19. Option to run MAF.TTP if Octopus BBS defined at exit. Only runs if   |
  56. |    any areas were modified.                                             |
  57. |20. Easy Set-Up of all external programs and Options, Available through  |
  58. |    Set-Up. Config is saved as a Text File so it can be edited with a    |
