BOMBRES BomRez - an auto re-boot program that runs from the AUTO folder.
When installed, a program crash will cause the computer to restart,
instead of showing bombs.
ENV2_1 Environment setting program in a CPX version 2.1 by Simon Robins.
Lets you set your environment variable from your control panel.
ENVIRNMT A utility by Pascal Fellerich for setting GEM's environment variables
(like PATH, SHELL, etc). Requires a cookie jar to be installed in
the system.
ICFS In MultiTOS version 1.07 Atari introduced a window gadget/feature
known as "Iconify". ICFS adds this feature to older versions of TOS/
MultiTOS. Program and docs by Reiner Rosin and Dirk Haun. Program
and docs are in German.
ICFS_ENG ICFS.CPX version 1.13 by John McLoud is a CPX module that will let
you manage many of the features available in ICFS. Requires ICFS.
Contains ENGLISH DOCUMENTATION!
KEYCLICK Keyclick is a small utility that will turn off those annoying
keyclicks (without losing other sounds).
LEONARD6 Leonard6, The Crash Handler by John Eidsvoog (CodeHead Software) -
Sept. 18, 1990. Leonard 6 is a little program that replaces the
bombs that the ST diplays when it crashes with "little heads with
ones and zeros in them". Works on all STs and TTs.
MACCEL3 Mouse Accelerator III (release version 3.3) by Ken Badertscher is
quite improved over MACCEL2, the previous version of the Atari mouse
accelerator. The most important improvements for you to know about
are that it does neat stuff on Stacy, and it knows about the extra
colors it has to black out on a TT. For those who know about such
things, I'll also say the magic word XBRA.
MB45_BIN MasterBrowse version 4.5 by Michel Forget is a shareware file viewer/
browser that is very fast. Too many features to list!
MONSTESC MonSTEr version 0.3 by Darek Mihocka is a high resolution monitor
emulator. It fools GEM into thinking that it is using a larger
screen than it really has. In ST monochrome, the virtual screen
size is 1280 x 960.
MOUSELOK Mouselok by Dave Meaker and Martin Stacey. Allows locking on/off of
mouse pointer. That way you can keep it from straying into areas you
don't want it.
MSPEED World's smallest mouse accelerator. The more times you run it, the
faster the mouse goes.
NEWICON New Icons by Paul Chinn, will easily replace any disk icon with a
custom icon at any time. Won't conflict with other programs (like
Hotwire!) or eat up valuable RAM. Can change trash can icon too.
Written in 100% assembly.
N_SYSCOM N_SYSCOM version 1.2 by Noud van Kruysbergen makes it possible to see
the Gemdos, Bios, Xbios and GEM (AES and VDI) actions your computer
is doing on screen.
QUICKTOS Quick TOS by Darek Mihocka, 2/16/90. Quick TOS allows disk versions
of TOS 1.0 and TOS 1.4 to be loaded from hard disk. Other disk
versions of TOS may exist and should work. Quick TOS requires a DISK
version of TOS.
RAINBOW A collection of assorted utilities from Atari Corp for use with TOS
1.04. Included is a TOS patch that fixes a couple of bugs in 1.04
and a program to let you set the "fast" load bit of files on your
drives.
RDD320 The Revenge Document Displayer version 3.20 by Stuart Coates is the
fastest document viewer on the ST/TT/Falcon! The objective with the
release of RDD3 is to provide a text viewing utility for the Atari
ST/TT/Falcon range of micros that is powerful and easy to use.
Shareware!
RESTORE Restore version 1.2 by James Beswick. Will restore your desktop
colors to their default boot-up value if they are altered by a
program that doesn't restore them properly. Restore is an ACCessory
that can also be run as a .PRG
RESTREGS Restore Registers version 1.1, solves problems with dirty programs
that don't save all registers. Program and docs are in German.
RUNLOW10 Run Low Version 1.0 by Anthony Watson. Run Low is such a simple
concept that I'm surprised no one has done it previously. Put
simply, Run Low lets you run low res programs directly from the
medium res desktop!
RUNPROG A desk accessory written by Todd A. Coram that will allow you to run
.TOS and .TTP programs as desk accessories. Note: It executes .TTP
programs WITHOUT passing parameters. C source code included.
SETVT52 Set VT52 by Lex Sijtsma is a little program that enables you to set
some VT52 characteristics. For example: colors, cursor on/off etc.
SLKMSE31 Silkmouse version 3.1 by Mark Slagell is a uniquely smooth, fast,
well-behaved mouse accelerator that has a screen saver that won't
intrude on your work and compensates for a hardware bug in Atari
keyboards. Freeware!
TRASHMAN Trash version 01.05 Michael Zuhl adds a recoverable trashcan feature
to your Atari ST. All docs in German.
VECSHOW System Vektor Anzeiger (System Vector Information) version 1.71 by
Stephan Gerle is a utility that displays (XBRA compatible) changed
system vectors.
VFNT200 VDI-Font version 2.00 by Harald Sommerfeldt is a utility that
installs any GDOS font as system font, some font utilities included.
Program and docs are in German.
WINTOTOP WinToTop by Robert Stupp is a utility to "top" the window under the
mouse cursor. The program and docs are in German.
WINX21 Winx version 2.1 by Martin Osieka expands GEM in TOS versions up to
version 4.04 to include some of the features which are available in
MultiTOS. From users point of view this means (among other stuff)
more windows allowed, enhanced control elements for background
windows and an expanded user interface. Additionally some bugs and
deficiencies of the different GEM versions have been removed or
repaired. Complete German AND English docs included!
XAES_BG XAES Background (formerly Let Em Fly) version 0.99A by Oliver Scheel,
Ken Hollis and Darryl Piper. With XAES Background in your AUTO
Folder, many normal GEM dialogs learn to fly like Julian Reschke's
FlyDials (e.g. in Gemini). Furthermore, these dialogs can be handled
by using the shortcuts XAES Background offers. There are many more
features!
