  4. There should be TWO versions of the same program in this archive, one called
  5. SERFX20.PRG and one called SERFX20X.PRG.  The SERFX20.PRG is to be used, along
  6. with the SERIALFX.CPX file, in conjunction with the Extensible Control Panel
  7. from Atari Corp.  The SERFX20X.PRG was a special favor to me from Bill Penner
  8. that I am passing on to you (with his permission).  This special version only
  9. requires that you place it somewhere in the AUTO folder.  It doesn't need the
  10. Extensible Control Panel (which is a SERIOUS memory hog!!) and automatically
  11. locks RTS/CTS to the on position (requiring a total of 4K of RAM).  This is
  12. much more suitable for all the one-meg-of-RAM sufferers out there.  I spent
  13. a total of two hours on the phone with Mr. Penner setting up my modem so if
  14. you have any questions, DON'T hesitate to send me E-mail or (for those of you
  15. that know my phone #) to call me.  I will be glad to help out.  Until then...
