  1. This textfile gives a description of the development with Delay Calculator.

  4. 93-10-26...v1.0  Finally release after weeks of de-bugging my usage of
  5.            GEM. This is the first official version.
  6.  
  7.            v1.0S (Swedish) and v1.0E (English) were released.
  8.  
  9.            Known bugs : No, not a single one...:-) The program CAN have
  10.            some minor graphics errors in MultiTOS, but nothing that makes
  11.            the program crash.
  12.  
  13. 94-04-08...v1.1  Finally released after MONTHS of polishing, de-bugging
  14.            and re-smurfing. This should be regarded as a MAJOR update.

  16.            What's new:
  17.            -----------

  19.            o The program is much more nice-looking now.
  20.  
  21.            o A new entry called BPM Calculator. The name says it all.
  22.              read DELAY_CA.TXT for more info.

  24.            o I've included a 3rd delay line in the delay calculation.

  26.            o Manual totally re-written. Read it again, and you'll
  27.              understand everything you didn't understand the first time.

  29.            o The meduim-resolution RSC-file is now load:ed auto-
  30.              magically.

  32.            What's dropped:
  33.            ---------------

  35.            o The idea of letting a function to convert BPM/Hz to normal
  36.              synthesizers irregular value-input (ex. LFO Speed 0-100), is 
  37.              also dropped. If you wonder why, try doing it for yourself. 
  38.              It would take too much time. But if I find another way (easy)
  39.              to do this, I will re-consider it.

  41.            o Also the MultiTOS idea is dropped. Use MultiDialog instead. 
  42.              Besides... It's not THAT important that it will multitask.

  44.            What's considered:

  47.            o I will probably make the Hz-function style compatible in the
  48.              next update (v1.2).
  49.  
  50.            o Note-representation of the delays.
  51.  
  52.            o The Delay Creator will probably be released with the v1.2.

  54.            Only an English version was released. And still no bugs in sight.

  56.            IMPORTANT!

  59.            I LOVE SHAREWARE! People really do care about it... Hmpf!
  60.            TWO registrations! It makes me wonder why I bother releasing it.

  62.            If you want to see a v1.2 OUTSIDE my studio. I want to see some
  63.            support. I wrote this program for my own needs, and if no-one
  64.            is needing this program, I won't bother you.

  66.            But the strange thing about it is, that EVERYBODY I've spoken
  67.            with, especially those with Mac's, PC's or Amiga's, do think
  68.            this is a wonderful program.

  70.            So, send my a disk, and I'll let you know if there's any news

  74.   The program was  written in  GFA Basic  v3.6,  and the GEM interface was 
  75.   designed in  WERCS  from HiSoft.  The program is compiled with a patched
  76.   version of the GFA Compiler Lib., to make it error free in both Program-
  77.   mode and accessory mode. The RSC-file for medium resolution, was created
  78.   with the help from BigColor v1.05,  which is a great colour-emulator for
