  4. Damit die Diskussion über ein True-Color-Bildformat für den Atari ein wenig
  5. Zündstoff bekommt, stelle ich meine TIFF-Library zur freien Verfügung. Diese
  6. läuft auf meiner Konfiguration zu meiner Zufriedenheit und die Aufgaben, die
  7. ich bzgl. TIFF-Dateien zu erfüllen habe, lassen sich damit bewerkstelligen.

  61. Die beiden Sourcen "pnm2tiff.c" und "tiff2pnm.c" sind nur zur Information
  62. beigelegt, wie sich die Library verwenden läßt. Ohne die PBM-Library von
  63. Jef Poskanzer sind diese nicht zu übersetzen.
  64.  
  65. Mit dem Programm "tiffinfo.ttp" lassen sich Informationen über TIFF-Dateien
  66. ausgeben.
  67.  
  68. Wenn es meine Zeit erlaubt, werde ich einfach zu handhabende Aufrufe
  69. implementieren; dazu benötige ich aber Vorschläge, wie die Load-/Save-Aufrufe
  70. aussehen sollen.

  72. Die Sourcen, Programme und die Library sind Public Domain. Ihr könnt damit
  73. machen, was ihr wollt :) Änderungen, Verbesserungen, etc. nehme ich gerne
  74. zur Kenntnis.

  76. Es sind auch noch nicht alle Packverfahren voll ausgetestet, mangels TIFF-
  77. Dateien von iNTELligenten Rechnern, NeXT-Rechnern, etc.
