Thereisafemale,livinginNorway,acountryfarupnorth.Acold
country,awindycountry,alongcountry,apollutedcountry.Tobe
precise,shedidn'tlivefarfromthe(un)knowngroupthatcarriedaname
offourletterswithfourpunctuationmarksandwaspronounced"ouch".Of
course,shedidn'tknowtheexistenceofanSTgroupcalledO.U.C.H.,and
shedidn'tknowthatitwasnearby.Ofcoursenot.ShehadaC64herself.
Once,oneofthemembersofthisgrouphadabadexperience.He
accidentallyfellinlovewithher,withoutevenknowingher.Sincehis
modestystillwashangingaround,andhestillwascuttinghishair,he
didn'tdaretosay"hi"toher,eventhoughshedid,hefoundout,goin
aclassparalleltohisownclass,andthereshouldbeenoughofreasons
tosuddenlygettoknowher.
Buthewasagoodprogrammer,andhehadrecentlydiscoveredhis
talentasapoet.Well,hewasn'texactlytalented,oratleasthedidn't
thinksohimself,buthehadalotofpractice,andknewhowtoputthe
rightwordstogether.Whenitcametoliterature,hepreferredwriting
shortstories.Butthesetooktimetowrite.Alotmoretimethanhehad
ifhewantedtosendashortstorytohereveryday.Instead,hesenta
poemtohereveryday.Sometimes,herfirstnamecouldbereadasthe
firstlettersofeachline.
Theseletterswereanonymous,andlittleisknowofwhatthisfemale
thoughtofthesepoems.
Theannualchristmasballoftheschoolclosedin,andaletter
revealedhisidentity,somethinghewouldregretbitterlyafterwards.
Thepartoftheballwhenthesixth-formersperformed,hespent
recordingthiseventonvideosothatheandanotherinthegroup,who
happenedtobeasixth-formerthatyear,couldedititandsellthe
editedstuff.Themaincharacterinthisstorywoulddomostofthe
cameraandmakethescrolltextprogramme.
Theotherpartoftheballwasmostlyspentlookingforthisfemale.
Perhapshewoulddaretoaskherforadance?Butno.Shewasn'tthere.
Hefeltsomewhatdepressed.
Christmaswentby,andhesentmoreletters,andattheend,he
thoughtitwastimetogiveup.Hewroteaminiatureshortstorytoher
thatendedwithadeathwish.Thenextday,thefemaleandhergirlfriend
laughedathimbehindhisback,asobservedbyhisfriend.
Theboyfeltdepressed,andmoredepressionwouldfollow.
Notmuchlater,heobservedhertogetherwithanotherboy.Ah.Soshe
alreadyhadaboyfriend.Fuckit!Other,ratherlatesourcesof
informationcouldtellhimthesamething.Hewasalsotoldthatshe
likeddrinkingalot,buthecouldn'tdecideifhelikedthatornot.
Ononeside,hehadaverynegativeviewonalcohol,anddidn'tdrink
himself.Ontheotherside,heworriedabouther.Ifshehadproblems,he
wantedtohelpherout.
Still,hemanagedtosuppresshisthoughtsofthisfemaleoutofhis
Çmind,butquiteawhilelater,heobservedthatshesometimeswas
observinghim,andsincehestillwassingleandfeltverylonely,hewas
hopingthatperhapssomethinghadchanged.
Eventhoughthecrushhadended,hestilllikedthefemale.Forsome
reason,helikedhergirlfriend,too.Hewroteanewletter.Damn,miss!
Nothinghappened...asusual.
AfterhavingwrittenalotaboutherintheUCL(UltimateCrazy
Letter,thelettertoStefanandRichardthatendedupatthesizeof
800-somethingkilobytes),hedecidedtoprintallhehadwrittenabout
her(2-300kilobytes)andgiveittoher.He"mailed"itinherschool
bagatwhathethoughwouldbeagoodtimetodoso.Unfortunately,she
wouldroundthecorneronlyafewsecondslater,soheaccidentally
droppedhispen-caseinherbag(oratleastthatiswhathebelievedwas
whathappened).
Then...nothinghappened.
Afterawhile,hemanagedtosuppressalsothis,andhefellinlove
withanotherfemaleandbrokehispersonality.Thistime,however,the
girlfriendofthefemalethisstoryisaboutgavetheboyadanceto
comforthim.Thiswouldprovetobethefirstdanceheeverhadhadwith
afemale,whichwouldexplainwhyheusuallyfeltdepressed.
Hefeltsothankfulforthisdance(andthehugshegavehim
afterwardsbeforedisappearingintonothingness)thathededicatedan
entiregametoher.(Thisgameisactuallypresentonthisdisk.Itis
called"Reverse"andisfoundinthe"Features"folder-Ed)
Butinspirationpersuadedhimintomakingamusicvideo,andashe
neededafemaletostarinit,andhecouldn'tthinkofanyonewhowanted
to,hedid,aftermanyotherfemales,contactthefirstmentionedfemale.
Thishappenedonthebus,tobeprecise.
Thefirstthingshesaidwouldbe"Hi,"
Ofcourseshedidn'twanttostarinitherself,butagreedtocheck
outifanyoneelsewould.Afteraweek,heaskedherifshehadfound
anyone.Shesaid"Hi!"(Sorry,haven'tdoneanything).
Afteryetanotherweek,hestoppedherinthecorridor.Shesaid"Hi,"
Ofcourse,shestillhadn'tdoneanything,andthrewoutacomment,
thatnoonewouldwantto,anyway.Andshespitteditout,asifshewas
talkingtosomeshitthatjustwasinherway.Forsomereason,hefelt
hurt.
Afterhavinggivenbothherandhergirlfriendasixth-former'scard
eachwithuniquecomments(withrhyme,ofcourse),andhemetherinthe
corridoronce,shesaid"Hi,"andcontinued.
Othertimes,theykeptmeetingeachotherbyaccident,shesaid"Hi,"
andcontinued.
AsCommuneResponsicametogether,andtheydiscoveredthatthis
femalewasbornontheDayofBeginningofLife,hequicklywrotea
letter(schoolwasover)andwantedmoreinformationonher,sothathe
couldwriteanarticleonher.Nothinghappened.
Hetriedsomeotherchannelstomakeherspeak,butatthetimeof
writing,nothinghashappened.
Anhourago(uponwriting,thatis),hemetheratschoolashewas
fetchinghisfinalgrades.Shesaid"Hi,"andwent.
HetookasmalltriptoUlsteinvikCitytobuyaCDsingle(Metallica
liveatWembleyStadium,London,April20th1992).Forsomereason,he
metherthere,too.Shewastalkingtohergirlfriend,sohedidn'tthink
ofinterruptingthem.Instead,hewentstraightintothemusicshop.
Whenhecameout,theywerebothoutofsight,butashegotintothe
carandleftthecarpark,heendeduprightbehindher.Hefollowedher
mostofthewayhome,sinceshelivedonhisway.Onlyaminuteorso
beforeshewouldbehome,heovertookher,eventhoughshealreadywas10
km/habovethespeedlimit.(Thespeedlimitwas80.Shewasdrivingin
90,sohepushedhiscarupto130tomakeitatareasonableamountof
Çroad)Whenhewasinfrontofher,hekeptamorereasonablespeed,which
meantthatshewouldhavetoslowdown(heh,heh,heh).
Whenheknewshewouldleavetheroad,heputhishandupthesunroof
andwavedgoodbyetoher.(Hehadoriginallyplannedtodrivetoher
place,butwiththepostoftodayinthebackofthecar,hewouldn't
havetimetovisither,andhehadn'tthoughtmuchofwhattosay,
either.Anotherthingisthathewouldn'tbewelcomethere,anyway.
