Introduction
============
Just a word about this game. It's a remake of an old game, from the time
where a few kilobytes game brought you many more fun than any of the
650 Mo CD-ROM games from now. In this game, you're controlling a little
snake, whose life is really exciting, since it always move forward, and
must :
1) eat every apple in each level.
2) not hit its body (tail) with its head.
3) not hit a wall.
Oh, yes, it's a real classic game, and don't expect to spend many weeks
playing with it ( well, why not, after all ? :-). However, I coded this
game three years ago, and never released it. I did it for fun, because I
spent my university periods to play this game on a HP28S... I then decided
to do a nth version, but tried to make it better on the ST than it was on
the HP : I did nice graphix, included music, and so on. Eventhough it's not
great, it may give you a few hours ( minutes? ) of entertainment. Being 3
years old make this game absolutely not Falcon enhanced, but being 'cleanly'
coded, it is Falcon-compatible. The only major drawback is that there's no
music on the Falcon version, as I don't have got any modplayer routine,
don't have time to include one anyway, and as Mad Max music player bombs on
the Falcon !
The game
========
Really easy to use. Start it from the desktop, nibe_st.prg on ST, nibefalc.prg
on Falcon. The ST version will erase the lowest half-meg, needing a reset to
allow you to use your ST after it. On Falcon, you don't need to reset, but
you must launch the game from ST-LOW or ST-MID. When the introduction is
displayed, press space to enter the menu. Move the light purple bar with the
joystick ( or the cursor keys ) up and down, and change values by moving left
or right. Redefine keys need that you successively press the four direction
keys you will use during the game : press each key when the corresponding
arrow is printed. You can't redefine <P>, <space> and <esc> keys. The lowest
the speed value is, the fastest you will move. Press space to play.
During the game, p pauses, space unpauses, esc aborts. In fact, esc aborts
everywhere, allowing you to skip little animations - I hate games where you
must wait until FMV ( :o) sequences are finished to play -. Scores are not
saved, sorry. Doesn't matter, I won't create any championship with wonderful
prices to win for this game !!
The registration
================
There's no registration. I decently can't ask money for such a little game. It
does NOT, however, avoid you to send me donations, as they will be used for
coding other games. In fact, I decided to spread this game to do a little test.
If I receive, say, $500, I think it'll be worth making other games. If you want
to donate me, send cash in a letter, but only notes, packed into sheets of paper,
to avoid detection... You can send money in dollars, pounds, deutshmarks or
francs, since I have shareware fees to send .... :-) Once again, it's not a
shareware game, you donate only if you want other games. I'm currently coding
Super Bomberman on Falcon, which will be, I hope, as good as the SNES version.

You may also write me, but I've very little time to answer, and the time I'll
spend answering you will be some time not used to code games....
