  10. our latest product. Frantick represents a commitment to providing the
  11. Atari user with a high quality, professionally written, entertainment
  12. program. Because of this we would like to provide you with a few start
  13. up comments that insure you of getting the maximum benefits of playing
  14. Frantick on your system.

  17.        FRANTICK RUNS SMOOTHER AND FASTER ON 60HZ MONITORS!!!!

  20. 50hz video users please note: (UK users...) Frantick runs MUCH smoother
  21. at 60hz video. Frantick will look for the file 60HZ.ON and if found it
  22. will boot up in 60hz video. After you exit the game it will put your
  23. system back in 50hz video. If you do NOT want to play the game at 60hz
  24. video please rename the file 60HZ.OFF. (Do not delete it!!) Yoy may
  25. switch from 50/60hz from the options menu later if desired.

  30.        Desk Accessories or TSR's could interfere with Frantick!!

  33. We do NOT disable system interrupts or desk accessories!!! Therefore 
  34. it is possible that this could cause Frantick to slow down or cause
  35. un-wanted Flicker on the screen. We have experienced this when running
  36. on a Falcon with several TSR's and Desk Accessories. Also, depending
  37. on the SCREEN SAVER you have installed, this could also cause problems.
  38. Solution(s): Disable them if they become a problem while playing.
  39. Hard drive users could boot their system while holding down CONTROL.* 
  40. This should disable all boot up programs.

  83. systems will notice a substantial load time when accessing data. If
  84. possible please run Frantick from a system that does not have any desk
  85. accesories or memory resident programs. If you have your computer hooked
  86. up to an audio system please take the time to increase the treble a few
  87. notches up. Because of the 8mhz speed, a few graphic extras will be
  88. missing when run on these systems, plus the game may appear to slow down
  89. from time to time when the screen gets very active. It should be noted
  90. that while the game may not run as fast as on other Atari systems, ST
  91. users will still get probably the best multi-channel arcade type sound
  92. effects ever heard in a ST game.

  107. and music when running Frantick. On the STe machines Frantick is also
  108. POWERPAD compatible!! Go out and buy that Jaguar controller and hook it
  109. up and play Frantick using it!! It's a blast!

  112. FRANTRAK.DAT audio file for floppy disk based users.

  161. stable though...) please DO NOT RUN Frantick with Multi-Tos installed!!
  162. You may run Frantick from any video mode desktop except TRUE COLOR!! 
  163. Frantick on the Falcon 030 is also POWERPAD ready! You may go out and
  164. purchase that new Jaguar controller and use it while playing Frantick!
