  3. XIMGSAVE ermöglicht es Bilder, die im Screenformat vorliegen ins XIMG
  4. Format zu wandeln und somit den meisten Grafikprogrammen zugänglich zu machen.
  5. Dazu muß nur die Auflösung und die Farbtiefe des Bildes eingegeben werden.
  6. Ist die Farbpalette für das Bild bekannt, kann sie im XBIOS(93/94)-Format
  7. angebunden werden.
  8. Sie muß dazu direkt hinter das Bild mit dem Magic 'FPAL' 'gemerged' werden.
  9. Wurde dieser Vorgang richtig gemacht, meldet das Programm:
  10. Originalfarben vorhanden.
  11. Im anderen Fall wird die aktuelle Farbpalette benutzt, was bei einem 256 Farb-
  12. bild, welches im 2 Farbmodus gewandelt wurde, entsprechend schlechte Ergebnisse
  13. liefert.

  15. Dieses Programm ist PD-Soft und darf zusammen mit diesem Text beliebig
  16. weitergegeben werden.

  34. XIMGSAVE converts screen dumps created by F_S_DUMP to the more popular 
  35. XIMG format. The program prompts for the resolution and the number of 
  36. planes of the screem dump. An optional color palette can be appended 
  37. (xbios 93/94 format), starting with the magic 'FPAL'.
  38. If the program finds a valid color palette, it displays the message:
  39.   Originalfarben vorhanden   [original colors present]
  40. Otherwise, the current palette is used, this often gives bad results.
