I have tested YELLER v1.0 very thoroughly but there are no doubt a few
bugs in the code. If you think you have found a bug in the
program, please write to me at the address at the end of this doc, or
Netmail on any of the above addresses.

===========
Yeller is distributed without any warranty. It works on my system
perfectly fine, but if anything happens on any other system, I cannot
be held responsible. Yeller alters data in the QCONFIG.BBS file, and
therefore if you wish to check it out before you install it, please
backup your copy of QCONFIG.BBS
What does it do?

Yeller is a simple utiltiy that allows users of QBBS v1.10 to alter
the yell times of their BBS automatically. It works on the same
principle as the yell function of Michtron BBS, which is where the
idea comes from.
The ability to set the yelling times in QBBS is a great one, but if
you want different yelling times every day, or you want to switch
yelling off for a period of time (if you are gonna be busy), you would
have had to go to QCONFIG and alter it manually.
Yeller simply alters your QCONFIG.BBS file to switch on or off
yelling. You can use it as a switch like Miccy but installing it on
a function key in binkley (using an exit with error level and running
yeller from the batch file..) or in an event. The event option allows
you to automatically switch yelling on and off at various times in the
day.
The actual program is very easy to use... Place it in the same
directory as QCONFIG and then make the appropriate changes in your
event file or your batch file. Then, to switch yell on, call
YELLER1.TTP with the command line ON, and to switch off, with the
command line OFF.
Those commands again...
To switch yelling OFF = Command Line OFF
To switch yelling ON = Command Line ON.
If you cant understand that... I'll eat my fireplace..
Yeller v1.00 is free to anyone. No fee may be charged for the
distribution of the full archive. If you regularly use Yeller, or have
any ideas on improvements, send me a netmail on either :

Why not try Gotcha! by the same author.. It allows you to trap people
who drop carrier and do nasty things to them... HA HA!!
