  3. What's New with PhidoQWK
  4.  
  5. - Program is faster - Previous versions took about 30 seconds  for 
  6. 5 message bases, now takes about 25 seconds for same bases.
  7.  
  8. -  Program  will now use the AORIGXXX.TXT file if found  for  your 
  9. origin line
  10.  
  11. - Program now allows the sysop to define the protocols  available. 
  12. Up to 6 external protocols can be defined. Please use option 18 of 
  13. MAXICFG2.PRG before setting up program.
  14.  
  15. - Program now has online help that sysop can define.  Simple  text 
  16.   file consisting of the following:
  17.           #
  18.           TEXT
  19.           !
  20.   Where  # is the entry number,  TEXT is the text displayed  to 
  21.   the user and ! is an end of entry marker.

  23. - Program  will  now  properly  handle  and  deal  with  messages 
  24. addressed to QMAIL. Remote commands currently accepted are:

  26.           ADD <confnum>
  27.           DROP <confnum>
  28.           MAXNUM <Max # of message in a base>
  29.           MAXSESSION <Max # of messages in a session
  30.           PROTOCOL <XMOD|1KXM|ZMOD|YMOD>

  33. These  commands will allow your users to  remotely  configure 
  34. there  setups.  All they need to do is send ONE message to  QMAIL, 
  35. Subject: CONFIG and then enter all their commands.

  37. - Sysop window is now configurable - If you don't like it you  can 
  38. turn it off.

  40. - Main Menu now accepts,  numeric or Alpha commands, ie C or 1 for 
  41. config, 7 or Q for quit.

  43. -  Online Help functions,  User can now ask for help concerning  a 
  44. menu item.  This can be done in 2 methods, Either hit 9 (or H) and 
  45. place program in Help mode after which all commands will  describe 
  46. the  associated  menu choice OR select H # and see the  help  file 
  47. associated with that #.  # may not associate with a menu choice so 
  48. be careful not to get confused with this method.
