  14. Here are a few configuration files for BinkleyTerm/ST 3.00+ and
  15. IOSmail 0.89 (and presumably higher) that should get you started
  16. in bringing up an AtariNet or FIDOnet (or go for the big banana
  17. and do BOTH!) node with relative ease.
  18.  
  19. These files work on my system, so you should be able to edit the
  20. node numbers and path specifications to suit your system's needs.

  23. FILES INCLUDED IN THIS ARCHIVE:

  26. AREAS.BBS             File that defines your echo areas
  27. BINKLEY.CFG           Bink/ST 3.00+ Configuration
  28. EXCHANGE.CFG          List of Raleigh Dial translations for Bink/ST
  29. BINKLEY.EVT           Bink/ST Events File
  30. IOSMAIL.CFG           IOSmail Configuration
  31. README.TXT            This file
  32. *.BAT                 Various Turbo/FoReM compatible batch files

  34. HOW TO USE THESE FILES:
  35.  
  36. The first thing you should do is print out these files and go over
  37. them with a fine tooth comb.  Just because I am making it a bit
  38. easier for you to set up a viable FIDO-style system doesn't mean
  39. that you should blow off learning how your system works.
  40.  
  41. This will make it easier for you to debug problems that may crop up
  42. later.  Trust me, you'll feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that
  43. you eradicated that bug rather than running around like a chicken
  44. with its head cut off!  ;)

  47. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS:

  49. You shouldn't have any problems, but if you do, try to resolve it with
  50. the documentation for the appropriate programme.  If you are still having
  51. problems, then feel free to contact me with your problem and the steps
  52. you have tried to use in solving the problem and I'll be happy to work
  53. with you.
