  6. Godel is an intelligent mathematics processor which can do arithmetic, solve
  7. equations, plot graphs and even knows calculus!  It runs in both high and 
  8. medium resolutions.
  9.  
  10. This disk contains the PD version of Godel, which has limited accesses to some
  11. functions.  If you register with WoolleySoft (£10) you will receive the full
  12. version.  Full instructions on how to use the program are included in the 
  13. godel.doc file.

  15. This disk also contains a PD version of The Guru, a hypertext desk accessory,
  16. to provide you with online help.  To run The Guru make sure that GURU.ACC and 
  17. GURU.HXT are installed on the root directory of a floppy disk in your A drive
  18. and reboot your computer.  The Guru will be installed under the DESK menu 
  19. header as 'The Guru'.  To start running The Guru simply select 'The Guru' from 
  20. this menu.  Full instructions for use are available from the hypertext 
  21. document displayed.  The Guru is a stand-alone shareware product in it's own 
  22. right, and runs in all resolutions.  Registration to obtain the full version
  23. costs £10, and an order form is enclosed.

  50. You are using the PD version of Godel.  This is fully functional with the 
  51. following exceptions
  52.  
  53. a.   The 'Show Working' function has been turned OFF.  This means that you will
  54.      not be able to see the working required to produce the final answer when 
  55.      simplifying expressions or solving equations.  
  56.  
  57. b.   The program will not process any equation whose final form after 
  58.      simplification includes a power of x greater greater than 1.  For example 
  59.      GODEL will process 5 = 2x-3 or y = 1/2x, but not 6 = x(x+2) or y = 1/x^2.
  60.      However expressions will be processed - so for instance (x+2)(2x-3) will
  61.      be simplified to give 2x^2 + x - 6.

  63. If you register (£10), I'll supply you with the latest full version which gives 
  64. you the intermediate steps in the working out and no restrictions on equation 
  65. processing.  I'll also throw in any other relevant PD\Shareware software I've 
  66. got hanging about.

  69. ** The Guru **

  71. You are using the PD version of The Guru.  This version is complete except
  72. that it displays an annoying little reminder message everytime you link
  73. between pages.  If you register you will a version that doesn't do this,
  74. any enhancements that I've added, any other goodies (including other 
  75. hypertext documents) that I can squeeze onto the registration disk, 
  76. notification of any future enhancements and details of other WoolleySoft 
  77. products.

  79. Registration cost £10.  However if you provide me with a disk containing a 
  80. new hypertext document with a size greater than 20K for The Guru then the
  81. registration cost is reduced to £5.
