  1. The Grocery Lister v4.2 readme file

  4. The Grocery Lister v4.2 will run in Demo mode until registered with
  5. a valid serial number and code key.  While in demo mode, a few functions
  6. will be disabled.  You can obtain the required registration information by
  7. sending $15.00 to the author at the address below.  Include an additional
  8. $5.00 if you would like to receive a printed user manual.  If you would
  9. like a pre-registerd version on disk, include a blank floppy disk along
  10. with a self addressed and stamped envelope or an additional $5.00.

  23. This version of The Grocery Lister has been designed to allow for easy
  24. conversion to other languages and monetary systems.  The display of the
  25. item amount field can be configured by the user as needed.  All text
  26. in the program is located in the resource file so it can be translated
  27. and other language resource files can be easily included.  If you are
  28. interested in translating this program and/or it's documentation to your
  29. native language, please contact me at the above addresses.

  33. This archive may be distributed via any means as long as all files are
  34. included and remain in their original unaltered form.  Once The Grocery
  35. Lister has been registered with a valid serial number and code key, the
  36. program and support files may not be distributed or copied, except for
  37. archival purposes, and are to be used only by the registered user and/or
  38. immediate family.

  59. The Neodesk icon was created with the built-in icon editor. NeoDesk is a
  60. trademark of Gribnif Software.

  62. The Falcon icons were created with ICDRAW by W.D.Parks/Dr. Bobware and
  63. can be added to the DESKICON.RSC using same program.

  65. The user manual is an ASCII export of a nicely formated Atari Works file
  66. and as such the ASCII file is somewhat crude.  You can obtain a printed
  67. copy of the nicely formatted version for $5.00.

  69. The grocery file format has changed in version 4.2, but the program is
  70. now able to automatically load and convert version 4.0 & 4.1 files
  71. without the need of a conversion program. Future versions will also
  72. be designed to automatically load any v4.0+ file.  However, v4.2+ files
  73. can not be loaded by program version 4.0 & 4.1.

  75. *** A FINAL NOTE ***

  77. I have been working on this program for many years and have spent countless
  78. hours at the keyboard trying to improve it.  Most of this effort resulted
  79. from the requests of the handful of users who have taken the time to
  80. provide feedback and suggestions.  Some have even bothered to register!
  81. Although I would greatly appreciate your monetary support, I would just
  82. as much appreciate your suggestions for making this program more useful
  83. and/or easier to use.  Please feel free to contact me at the addresses

  85. be sent as well.
