  12. ADBAS145  AdBase - Address Database version 1.45 by Steve MacMillan is a
  13.           dedicated address book program for keeping names and numbers.  It has
  14.           a upper limit of 400 addresses and saves it's files in regular ASCII
  15.           text. 
  16. ADRBK140  The Address Book Desk Accessory version 1.40 by Robert M. Balay is an
  17.           address filing program that utilizes the list-finder metaphor as a
  18.           user interface.  This makes The Address Book infinitely easier to use
  19.           than most mailing list programs that offer the capability to search
  20.           for a given name.
  21. ADRES181  Address version 1.81 - address management program that run as an ACC
  22.           or an APP, dialogs in windows, coloured icons, online scrolling/
  23.           searching, dialer, XACC, drag & drop, in-/export, full text search,
  24.           3-step sorting, birthday warning etc.  Contains both English and
  25.           German resource files.
  26. AUDIO     Audio File ST by William C. Jenkins is a database program which will
  27.           allow you to set up a file of all your albums, tapes, and compact
  28.           disks and quickly search through the list and otherwise manipulate
  29.           your data much as you would expect with any good data base program.
  30. AW_RCPBK  A Recipe Book Template by Michael Hebert for Atari Works.  This is
  31.           not a polished application but it is useable and could very easily be
  32.           polished.  Will do the job when it comes to keeping track of recipes.
  33. AW_VCR    A VCR Tape Database and Label Template by Michael Hebert for use with
  34.           AtariWorks.  Will keep track of your video tape collection and allow
  35.           you to print labels for your tapes.
  36. BDB13     Book DataBase One version 1.3 by Timothy Early that provides an
  37.           efficient and convenient method of cataloguing and listing books.
  38.           Entry was designed to be as painless as possible.  All data is stored
  39.           in memory for speed of sorting and access.
  40. BORGANIZ  This is a database program that organizes your books, magazines and
  41.           your articles.  Easy to use.  Just click on the white button to
  42.           activate each field.  Written in GFA.  Note: the program does not
  43.           reset the color pallette when exiting.  Written by Nathan Sienicki.
  44. COCKTAIL  Cocktail - a GEM based database that allows you to keep track of
  45.           recipes for various cocktails.  The program comes with complete
  46.           GERMAN documentation.
  47. COLLECT   The Collector by Albert Baggetta is a coin or stamp database for the
  48.           novice to intermediate collector.  In fact, with small modification
  49.           the program could be used to catalog almost any item.  Includes some
  50.           "dummy" sample data files.
  51. COMIK     The Comic Book Collector version 2.0.  The ultimate comic database
  52.           when it comes to simplicity and thoroughness.  Collecting, sorting,
  53.           cataloging, listing, reading, scanning, updating your collection is
  54.           only a key or mouse press away.
  55. DACAP110  Da Capo 1.08 by Francisco Mendez.  A database from Germany that can
  56.           run as either a *.APP or a *.ACC.  Includes ENGLISH documentation.
  57.           This program is fully GEM based and conforms to all GEM conventions.
  58.           According to the docs, a French version is also available.
  59. DATAHAND  The Atari ST Data Handler version 3.0 by Richard Guthrie.  A very
  60.           reasonably priced ($5) shareware database.  It was designed as a very
  61.           simple and easy to use system for handling data.  Each screen has
  62.           instructions on what can be done within that screen.
  63. DATALOPE  Data-Lope version 1.1 by David M. Seberg is a resolution independant
  64.           envelope printing data base program and should run in all Atari
  65.           resolutions capable of displaying at least 80 characters by 25 lines
  66.           of text.  It is designed to work specifically with the HP DeskJet.
  67. DBLIB_ST  DBLIB-ST version 2.31 by E. Baumgras.  This program is a disk
  68.           cataloger and label printer.  It is offered as shareware.
  69.           Registration requires a $15.00 contribution.  Registered users will
  70.           receive a fully implemented version, and will be eligible for printer
  71.           code modifications, updates, and consideration of special requests.
  72. EASYDAT_  Easydat Version 1.20 by Marco Feikert.  A sharware database program
  73.           from Germany.  The docs are in German but the program includes an
  74.           ENGLISH resource file.  The documentation promises that an English
  75.           manual will be available.
  76. EZBASE10  Easy Base version 1.0 is a Shareware Database written by Anthony
  77.           Watson on an Atari MEGA/STE using GFA BASIC 3.5E. It is intended to
  78.           be a general purpose database that can be adapted to many common
  79.           tasks such as Address Lists, Inventory, Checkbooks, etc.  Should work
  80.           on any ST/STe/TT/Falcon030.
  81. FASTBASE  Fastbase is a powerful, flexible database for the Atari-ST that
  82.           incorporates features previously only to be found in expensive
  83.           commercial offerings. The many features include: Incorporate 4
  84.           different graphic formats, Multiple databases in memory at once,
  85.           Sophisticated query with relational features, more.
  86. FB18      First Base version 1.80 is a fast memory resident database system for
  87.           small and medium size applications.  It is not full featured but has
  88.           a wide range of uses, is fast and very easy to learn and use. It runs
  89.           in medium or high resolution on an any Atari computer in the ST line.
  90. LCKYLT42  Lucky LOTTO Numbers a random number generator/lottery database!  This
  91.           lotto generator/database is a little bit different since it adds new
  92.           wrinkles, and it's free. So trash all your others and enjoy Lucky
  93.           LOTTO Numbers!
  94. MDATE     Make*A*Date version 1.5 is a datebook tool that you will find useful.
  95.           It allows you to organize and store appointments, reminders, a TODO
  96.           list, a phone numbers and general notes.  In essence, Make*A*Date
  97.           provides four ready-made databases titled "Scheduler", "Phone Book",
  98.           "TODO List", and "Notes".
  99. MEMBERS   A database by Gilbert W. Keller designed to keep track of a
  100.           membership list (names, addresses, phone number, etc.) and to assist
  101.           in printing mailing labels when you want to do a mailing to the
  102.           members in whatever group you are keeping track of.
  103. MUSICDB2  Music Inventory Database version 1.1 by Chris Carpinello is a very
  104.           easy to use program to help you keep track of all of your music, from
  105.           Compact Disks to 8-tracks, with up to 32,760 entries allowed.
  106. NOFRILLF  The No Frills label making program version 1.02 by Ron Weldin.  No
  107.           Frills is not a fancy label program.  It is designed to get the job
  108.           done as quickly and painlessly as possible.  Most options are
  109.           selected by a single key stroke.
  110. REFBASE   REFBASE Version 1.4 by Jan M. de Boer is a database program for
  111.           storing scientific references.  REFBASE was designed primarily for
  112.           handling titles from publications which have appeared in journals;
  113.           for storing book-titles the record layout is probably somewhat less
  114.           suitable.
  115. RELCVT    Converts older Relative Tree Chart data files to a format compatible
  116.           with the newest version (2.0).
  117. RELTREE2  Relative Tree Chart program version 2.0 by Greg Kopchak is a program
  118.           for the Atari ST and Mega series to organize, store and print
  119.           information on your family tree.  Information on up to 600  parents,
  120.           grandparents and greatgrandparents can be stored on a 520 ST, over
  121.           2,000 on a 1040  ST, going back up to thirty-five generations.
  122. SALESCON  Sales Controller version 1.1 is a program that will keep track of
  123.           inventory and print invoices.  It will take care of all aspects of
  124.           tracking your stock inventory and sales and returns, etc.
  125. STCAT52   STDCAT version 5.2b by Bob Silliker is a specialized database that
  126.           can be used to catalogue diskettes and hard disk partitions.   It is
  127.           a GEM application using 4 windows to display various parts of a
  128.           catalogue.  Each section, disk, path and file can, optionally, have a
  129.           comment associated with it.  
  130. SUP_CARD  Super Card 1.3.  An Excellent Program.   It's very easy to use, fast
  131.           in operation, surprisingly and flexible.  It's just the sort of
  132.           program you need for quickly setting up all those little catalogue
  133.           files you always promised you'd do on your computer, but never got
  134.           round to.  A sharware offering from Mark Butler.
  135. TAPE1800  Tape version 1.800 by Frank Ronald Seehase is a database for tapes.
  136.           ST/STe/TT compatible (maybe Falcon??)  All docs are in German.
  137. TCOS      TCOS version 1.2 by Matthew P. Aubury is an information storage
  138.           system.  It is designed  to allow you to structure information in a
  139.           logical way which allows you to access data quickly and efficiently.
  140.           Data is arranged in a series of 'cards', which contain either text or
  141.           graphics.  Areas of the cards are designated as 'buttons', which,
  142.           when clicked on with the mouse pointer, bring up further cards.
  143. TELEBACC  The TELEBASE II Package! by Ray Mattera.  With the new TELEBASE
  144.           desk accessory, you can have access to hundreds of important phone
  145.           numbers, addresses, notes, whatever you decide to input ... ANY TIME,
  146.           ANYWHERE!  And phone modem owners can have TELEBASE dial those
  147.           numbers in just a mouse click!
  148. TLCBOOK5  TLC Address Book version 5.00 by Tom Hayslett.  This one is different
  149.           folks, it contains two actual databases of names and addresses, not
  150.           one.  The first portion is pretty much the standard address book type
  151.           offering all the normal features.  It's extremely fast in all
  152.           operations.  The second portion is a 'date reminder' section, hence
  153.           the name 'Date Minder'.  It stores by month names and addresses of
  154.           those with birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions that
  155.           occur during the month.
  156. VIDEO     The Bells & Whistles Videotape database, version 1.2, a very
  157.           full-featured program which helps you track your movies, specials,
  158.           etc. on videotape.  Makes full use of GEM, with menus, buttons, and
  159.           dialog boxes.
  160. ZAP       Zap Card version 2t by J.Andrzej Wrotniak.  This program will allow
  161.           you to create and manipulate simple card files, to store, retrieve
  162.           and update various kinds of information.  Zap_Card is not a full-
  163.           featured database, but it is adequate for many simple tasks, as e.g.
  164.           cataloguing books or records, or collecting references to literature.

  174. DANADESK  The Ad.lib Desktop version 6.8 by Andy Curtis is a COMPLETE desktop
  175.           replacement (similar to NEODesk) offering many features not available
  176.           on older versions of TOS.  Includes a huge selection of custom icons!
  177. DB2_CONV  A collection of icons for use with Gribnif's NEO Desk 4.
  178. DB7_CONV  A collection of icons for use with Gribnif's NEO Desk 4.
  179. GEMINI_S  A small GDOS font for use with Gemini.  Looks very good.
  180. GMNI1999  GEMINI version 1.999 by Stefan Eissing und Gereon Steffens is a
  181.           sharware replacement desktop for all Atari ST series computers.  It
  182.           has become the "standard" by which the others are judged.  The
  183.           program and all documentation are in German.
  184. GMNI_ENG  This folder contains English translations of two Gemini 2 files,
  185.           GEMINI.RSC and GEMINI.MSG.  They should be installed in place of the
  186.           original German files of the same name, and together they provide a
  187.           complete English interface to Gemini 2.  Translated by Eric Chapman.
  188. ICONS203  203 different Icons for use with NEO Desk 3.
  189. JMPST273  JumpSTART version 2.73 by Paul Lefebvre is a Hotwire like desktop
  190.           replacement.  An attractive dialog box is displayed with a list of
  191.           your most commonly used programs (games, applications, etc).  These
  192.           programs can be assigned descriptions of up to 20 characters in place
  193.           of the normal ST filename and the list can contain up to 63 file
  194.           descriptions, 21 on each page.
  195. NEO4_ICN  A collection of icons for use with Gribnif's NEO Desk 4.
  196. NICE_RSC  The program NICE_RSC by Christoph Zwerschke is a tool for Gemini
  197.           version 1.2.  German docs.
  198. RUNNER    Runner version 1.61 by Dave Thorson is designed as a replacement for
  199.           the standard Atari desktop, providing additional capabilities and
  200.           ease of use.  It gives you a very different, yet powerful and
  201.           customizable computing environment.  Many of the features Runner
  202.           offers are easy to learn and should be helpful to most users right
  203.           away.
  204. TERA_139  The Tera Desktop is a replacement for the ST, STE or TT desktop.  It
  205.           provides many more facilities than the standard desktop and windows
  206.           are drawn and scrolled much faster in it;  It allows icons for files
  207.           and programs and provides the ability to view files in windows.
  208.           Manuals are provided in English, Dutch, and French.
  209. TERA_SEC  Secrets of Teradesk - Tips 'n' tricks on using Wout Klaren's unusual
  210.           and powerful desktop software for the ST and TT lines of Atari
  211.           computers.  This text tutorial, written by Al Fasoldt, contains a
  212.           wealth of information about using TeraDesk.  It can be of great use
  213.           to the beginner and advanced user alike.
  214. ZEST      ZeST Desktop Applications by David Becker.  The ZeST interface,
  215.           desktop and applications should run on all ST platforms.  Includes
  216.           the desktop, and five icons which represent a calendar, database,
  217.           typewrite, and paint program.

  225. ABC       Talking Jumble and The Alphabet Monkey.  The Monochrome Mouse
  226.           presents educational fun for everyone.  These two, free, fully
  227.           working programs are previews from a three disk shareware package
  228.           designed just for kids.
  229. ABCD      'ABCD' Alphabet Game version 3.0 by Bob and Debbie Silliker is an
  230.           interactive game that will teach youngsters the alphabet.  It uses an
  231.           animated clown and lots of sound and music to help teach the
  232.           alphabet.
  233. BIG_TIME  Mr. Smart's BIG TIME - a shareware educational package with six
  234.           active game modules.  Big Time teaches 'time', matching shapes, and a
  235.           host of other things.
  236. CIRCUS    Math Circus - runs in ST color graphics modes only.  The program was
  237.           written by an unknown Dutch programmer.  The illustrator, Juergen
  238.           Reichenwallner, found it in a PD library and modified the graphics to
  239.           suit himself and his children.  It is a two player math game with
  240.           adjustable levels of challenge.
  241. CRYPGRAM  Cryptogram Helper by Mark Buttram. This program makes working
  242.           cryptograms a little easier.  This program will not give you answers,
  243.           but will keep track of what letters equal what.  Now no cryptogram
  244.           will be unsolvable!
  245. EALPHAQ   Alpha Quest.  This is a simple program that should run on all ST's in
  246.           the color mode.  Eliemouse appears at the top of the screen and says
  247.           he wants to introduce your child to the Alphabet.  This is a game for
  248.           young children just starting to learn the alphabet.  They might need
  249.           some help from mom or dad.
  250. E_SPELL   Eliemouse's Spelling Hunt is a low resolution game for young children
  251.           of elementary school age.  It is a fun game to play, but at the same
  252.           time it reenforces some basic skill children should be encouraged to
  253.           develop.
  254. FCMULDIV  Flash Card Mathematics - Multiplication & Division from the Terrapin
  255.           Schoolhouse.  A great SHAREWARE flash card program that teaches the
  256.           basics of math.  Runs in ST Low reaolution only.  See the
  257.           READMEMD.DOC file for shareware fee information.
  258. FLSHCARD  Flashcard version 1.0 by Don Clifton.  A flexible math flashcard game
  259.           that covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  The
  260.           range of numbers and the speed of the cards are definable by the
  261.           player.
  262. KIDSKTCH  KidSketch by D.A. Brumleve.  A painting program designed for
  263.           children.  The program is mouse-controlled and runs only in low
  264.           resolution.  A "HELP" file provides detailed instructions, if needed.
  265.           Reading ability is required to take advantage of many of the options,
  266.           but non-readers can use the program with help.
  267. MAGSPELL  Magic Spell by T. Savino.  A shareware game that teaches spelling.
  268.           Requires ST Medium or ST high resolution.  Includes an editor so you
  269.           can create your own words for use with this program.
  270. MORSE     Morse code practice software by Don Rice.  This software is intended
  271.           to help people who want to improve their morse copying skills for
  272.           amateur radio licenses.  It is not a morse code tutorial, although a
  273.           tutorial program could be constructed with the included routines.
  274. MREBUS    Rebus Writer - A KIDPRG in GFA Basic by D.A. Brumleve.  Rebus Writer
  275.           allows the user to design and print rebuses, a kind of code in which
  276.           pictures and symbols are used to represent words.  The HELP files in
  277.           the program should be sufficient to get you started.  Requires ST
  278.           Monochrome.
  279. MRKEYPAD  Mr. Keypad is your personal aid in practicing the numeric keypad.  A
  280.           scrolling list of numbers in the middle of the screen helps you to
  281.           sharpen you keypad entry skills.
  282. PRESQUIZ  The United States of America "Presidential Succession Quiz" from the
  283.           Terrapin Schoolhouse.  Teaches the names of all the President's of
  284.           the United States and the order in which they were elected.  Requires
  285.           ST Low resolution.  Sharware - see the READMEPQ.DOC file for details.
  286. QUIZMAST  Quizmaster - The Test Generator.  This program is designed for the
  287.           development, administering and printing of tests.  It should prove a
  288.           valuable tool to teachers, instructors, students and anyone who must
  289.           prepare for a big exam.  This program enables you to enter questions
  290.           with up to three multiple choice answers into a file.  These files
  291.           can then be used for on-screen test taking and for printed tests.
  292. SPLG1TSH  SPELLING I - Object Recognition & Spelling from the Terrapin
  293.           Schoolhouse.  The program conatins six (6) different lessons with
  294.           twelve (12) multi-colored, graphic images in each lesson.  The
  295.           student is challenged to recognize each object, and input the correct
  296.           spelling of the names of the objects.  Shareware - see the README.DOC
  297.           file for details.

  299.           Schoolhouse.  The program contains with six (6) different lessons

  305.           your typing speed and giving practice to improve your typing skills.

  314. AREACODE  Area Code Locator for the Atari ST/Mega computer by Gordon Meyer is a
  315.           program that will let you enter an areacode and display the state and
  316.           majors cities for that code.  You can also enter a state and the
  317.           program will display all the areacodes of that state.  It also
  318.           displays the time zone and current time of that area code.
  319. CHECK     Full Screen Checking and Budgeting (FSCB) by Gregory S. Gibson.  FSCB
  320.           was designed to make personal computer checking fast, easy, and
  321.           convenient.  It has many functions including: Full screen editing,
  322.           Global database functions, Checkbook balancing, Printing on
  323.           perforated checks, and a Mouse interface.  The budget portion of FSCB
  324.           allows the user to flag desired expenditures.  It is useful for
  325.           tracking a roommates or spouses monthly expenses.
  326. CHEKBOOK  Checkbook version 1.19 by Steve MacMillan is an aid in getting todays
  327.           complicated checking account under control.  The big problem in
  328.           today's account balancing is how to balance an account when items are
  329.           entered out of sequence, due to automated teller withdrawals,
  330.           interest payments, and service charges.  Chekbook automates this
  331.           process.  All entries are automatically sorted by date so they may be
  332.           entered in almost any order.
  333. CHRONOS   Chronos version 1.5 by Daniel Roth.  Chronos is a sharware calender
  334.           and dating system for the Atari ST.  This program comes from Germany
  335.           and, naturally, all documentation is in German.
  336. COLA_2    COLA - The Cost of Living Adjuster by Rick Mendosa.  The only way to
  337.           understand what the costs and incomes of earlier years mean in
  338.           today's money is to relate them to the value of money now.  This is
  339.           the same process by which some jobs and prices are indexed to the
  340.           rise in the cost of living.  They call that a "cost of living
  341.           adjustment."  This program uses actual inflation figures to calculate
  342.           the cost of living adjustment.
  343. GAS_LOG   GAS_LOG by Peter B. Eby.  Helps you keep an accurate record of your
  344.           automobile expenses.  Keeps track of many things (mileage, repairs,
  345.           fill ups, etc.) and can pay real dividends in showing you when you
  346.           need to get a tune-up.  Works in ST monochrome or ST medium.
  347. GL4DEMO   The Grocery Lister version 4.0 by Randy Hoekstra.  Lets you create,
  348.           maintain, and print a groceery list.  Will keep track of prices and
  349.           quantities.  Very useful for the "smart shopper".  Shareware!
  350. GROCRY42  The Grocery Lister version 4.2 by Randy Hoekstra is a utility to keep
  351.           help with grocery lists/buying/budgeting, etc.  This version of The
  352.           Grocery Lister has been designed to allow for easy conversion to
  353.           other languages and monetary systems.  Shareware!
  354. LOANANLZ  Loan Analyze by John Tutlis - A nice loan analyzer program that
  355.           includes payment comparisons, monthly loan payments, annuity future
  356.           value, forecasting a loan, and revolving credit.
  357. POSTAL21  PoSTal version 2.1 - The postal abbreviation/zip code finder for
  358.           Atari ST computers.  Lets you enter a zipcode and tells you in what
  359.           state that zipcode is in or will allow you to enter a state and tell
  360.           you what zipcodes are in that state.  PoSTal will operate as either a
  361.           desk accessory or program.

  369. BSTAT247  B/STAT is a very powerful general purpose graphics and statistical
  370.           analysis package.  In general B/STAT uses a spreadsheet metaphor to
  371.           display the data that you enter.  Works on all ST/STe/TT/Falcon
  372.           computers.
  373. EULER     EULER, The numerical Laboratory version 3.04 by Dr. R. Grothmann.  It
  374.           has the following features: Interactive evaluation of numerical
  375.           expressions with real or complex values, vectors and matrices,
  376.           including use of variables, Built in functions that can take vectors
  377.           as input and then evaluate each element of the vector or matrix,
  378.           Matrix functions, Statistical functions and random numbers, 2D and 3D
  379.           plots, A built in programming language with a trace feature, and
  380.           online help.
  381. FCC       Flow Chart Compiler version 1.0 by Mark Falleroni.  A structured
  382.           language was developed to facilitate the development of flowcharts.
  383.           It is simply called the Flowchart Design Language.  The language is
  384.           similar to modern day high level structured programming languages and
  385.           contains most of the other programming language constructs.
  386. FORM      FORM is a symbolic manipulation program which places its emphasis on
  387.           large formulae and execution speed.  There are enough mechanisms to
  388.           provide it with nearly all the knowledge that is needed for large
  389.           scale symbolic calculations in mathematics, physics and engeneering.
  390.           FORM has been applied already for computations in Field theory,
  391.           Lattice gauge theory (both in physics) and a problem in mathematical
  392.           group theory (helping with solving a set of nonlinear equations that
  393.           was too big for any other system).
  394. FPLOTT29  Function plotter version 2.9 by Christoph Zwerschke is a GEM based
  395.           function plotting program for the Atari ST and TT (and Falcon?).
  396.           Includes versions for 68000 and 68030 based machines.  The program
  397.           and all docs are in German.
  398. GAUS_26   GAUSS version 2.6 by Alexander Pretschner and Karl Schneider.  Gauss
  399.           is an extremely powerful function plotter program for the Atari ST.

  401. GODEL     Godel is an intelligent mathematics processor which can do
  402.           arithmetic, solve equations, plot graphs and even knows calculus!
  403.           Why waste time doing your maths homework when Godel will do it for
  404.           you!  Godel runs in either ST high or ST medium resolutions.  Godel
  405.           uses the standard GEM environment.
  406. MATLAB    Matlab matrix calculation program.  Works with any Atari ST with at
  407.           least 2 Megabytes of RAM.  Includes complete source code that will
  408.           compile with BC Fortran (which is available on this CD ROM in the
  409.           programming area).
  410. MATRICKS  'MaTricks' by Victor Eijkhout is a linear algebra package for
  411.           purposes of research and education. It is not meant to be a high
  412.           precision numerical library. Emphasis is on ease of input and ease of
  413.           inspection of results (filling in a Hilbert matrix takes literally 8
  414.           keystrokes, and matrices are in full view most of the time).  You can
  415.           also add user-defined modules to the package.
  416. MESSPLOT  A statistical analysis and plotting package for the Atari ST family
  417.           of computers.  Appears to support SpeedoGDOS for printer output.
  418. N_ANOVA   N_ANOVA allows you to do an AN(alysis) O(f) VA(riance) on your data.
  419.           Usually you have two or more conditions or groups between which, you
  420.           hope (or not), is a difference. Statistical analysis of the variance
  421.           of the results will show the significance of this difference. If you
  422.           know what I am talking about then maybe you can use this program.
  423. PLOT172L  PLOT version 1.72L by John Cordes is a two-dimensional plotting
  424.           program for the Atari ST which runs in high or medium (ST)
  425.           resolution.  Its main features are (1) that it can plot a large
  426.           variety of functions entered at the keyboard, (2) it can plot data
  427.           read from disk files or entered 'by hand' in a built-in data editor,
  428.           and (3) it can produce good quality hardcopy on a variety of printers
  429.           using GDOS printer drivers and fonts.
  430. PRO_CALC  ProCalc version 1.00 by John Brochu is a professional, full featured
  431.           scientific calculator with logs, exponentials, power, roots, trig
  432.           calculations in degrees and radians as well as computer math with up
  433.           to 50 nested levels of parenthesis.  It runs as a PRG or as an ACC.
  434. RIEMANND  RIEMANND - a math problem solving package that tackles symbolic
  435.           algebra problems.  Requires an ATari ST/STe/TT/Falcon030 with at
  436.           least one megabyte of ram.
  437. RSPLOT11  RSPLOT version 1.1 by Bob Silliker is a general purpose data plotting
  438.           program that will work in both MEDIUM and HI resolution modes on the
  439.           ST series of computers.  The program provides for independant Linear
  440.           or Log10 axis scaling for each axis.  Linear scaling can be 1, 2 or 4
  441.           quadrants and Log10 scaling is 1 quadrant.
  442. SIM_EQ    SIM_EQ version 1.0 solves linear simultaneous equations.  It allows
  443.           input of coefficients and constants, allows you to edit any errors,
  444.           then solves the set, printing to the screen.  It allows either a
  445.           printed output of just the solution vector, or of the set of
  446.           coefficients entered and the solution vector.  It will also allow the
  447.           data to be saved to disk in ASCII in either tabular form, so that it
  448.           can be loaded into a word processor, etc.
  449. SOLUTION  Solutions version 0.8 by Paul Dubé is a mathematical equation solver,
  450.           similar to Mathematica on the IBM platform.  Requires some form of
  451.           GDOS (G+, Speedo, FontGDOS, original GDOS, etc.) to function
  452.           properly.
  453. TAB_PLOT  TAB_PLOT version 2.9 by Robert Best.  TAB_PLOT converts a number
  454.           table, contained in the output file of another program, into a XY,
  455.           RΦ, XYZ or RΦZ plot. Automatic (log)scaling, spline interpolation,
  456.           curve fitting, hidden surface, contour plot, plot sizing and
  457.           PostScript output are included.  TAB_PLOT does not make bar graphics
  458.           or pie charts.
  459. ZPLOTTER  Z-Plotter version 2.0 by Sean Barnes is a three-dimensional plotting
  460.           program that allows you to choose an equation and plug in various
  461.           ranges for the X, Y, and Z axis. The maximum and minimum ranges for

  512. OMEN250D  OMEn version 2.50 - the Open Multitasking Environment, OMEn.  The
  513.           author plans on OMEn becoming a major operating platform for the ST,
  514.           Mac, Amiga, and PC (with 680x0 OMEn processor card).  OMEn is the
  515.           first operating system to really integrate software at the system
  516.           level. It is a "Componentware" environment where smaller software
  517.           applications can specialize in doing one thing well instead of having

  557. READSEQ   ReadSeq by d.g.gilbert  - Reads and writes nucleic/protein sequences
  558.           in various formats.  Data files may have multiple sequences.  Readseq

  585.           commands make this BASIC interpreter to handle data easily. The BASIC
  586.           interpreter makes the spreadsheet more powerful than many other
  587.           spreadsheet commercially available.

  658.           present some good reminders.
  659. JAPWORPR  A simple word processor (text editor?) that uses the Japanese
  660.           character set instead of regular letters and numbers.  Could be very
  661.           useful to anyone who can read and write Japanese.
  662. MAKEDICT  MakeDict version 3.2 by David Tilley.  MakeDict is used to maintain a
  663.           Spell/ST master dictionary.  MakeDict does not work with low
  664.           resolution monitors. Requires The Spell/ST spelling checker which is
  665.           on this CD in the folder titled "SPEL32".
  666. MARCEL23  Marcel Word Processor version 2.3 is a sharware word processor that
  667.           is packed with features.  It is "super-easy to learn" and easy to
  668.           use.  It should be up to most any word processing job.
  669. MARCEL_A  A complete dictionary for use with Marcel - this dictionary has
  670.           "American-ized" spellings for words.
  671. MARCEL_B  A complete dictionary for use with Marcel - this dictionary has
  672.           "British style" spellings for words.
  673. MGWRITER  MagniWriter is a word processor is fully compatible with files
  674.           produced by ST Writer, and vice versa.  What makes this program
  675.           different is that it displays extra large text so that it can be
  676.           easily used by people with poor vision.  This program does not use

  678. NEWWORD   This is the third version of WORD400 by F. Gregory Schneller.
  679.           WORD400 is a text processor that operates as a desk accessory.  Among
  680.           it's many features, WORD400 has a full set of block commands allowing
  681.           the copying, deleting, moving , and saving of marked text.
  682. SPEL32    Spell/ST version 3.2 by Murray Langton and David Tilley.  A versatile
  683.           English spelling checker.  Requires an Atari ST with at least 400 k
  684.           of free memory.  Spell/ST reads text from a file, breaks that text up
  685.           into words, looks up each word in a dictionary, and displays those
  686.           words that it couldn't find.  It has some knowledge of plurals,
  687.           suffixes and prefixes.  Spell/ST ignores some text-formatting commands
  688.           and works on 1st. Word Plus '.DOC' files. It also detects consecutive
  689.           duplicate words and most common split infinitives. 
  690. STWRTR48  ST Writer Elite version 4.8 by Bruce Noonan.  Latest version of the
  691.           best public domain word processor available.  Runs in any ST
  692.           compatible resolution.  Offers most of the "expected" features of a
  693.           word processor.
