  33. Adjust the Level of Difficulty

  35. The Music Box allows you to set the level of difficulty for
  36. your practice session.  By selecting the intervals, triads
  37. and melodic options you can practice just a few intervals
  38. and short simple melodies or elevate the level of difficulty
  39. all the way to every interval within an octave and extremely
  40. complex melodies.

  42. About Shareware and this Demo disk

  44. The Music Box is shareware.  The shareware distribution system 
  45. relies on users to share the unregistered demonstration version
  46. of the program.  You may make copies of the demo disk and 
  47. share them with anyone you feel may be interested in 
  48. the program.  The demonstration version of the program does 
  49. limit the choices of intervals and a few other features, 
  50. but fully illustrates the power of the program.  After a 
  51. trial period, you may purchase the fully functional version 
  52. of the program by registering with Carner Enterprises (the 
  53. registered version may not be copied and distributed).  
  54. The on-line help file in the demo version has full 
  55. instructions on how to register.

  59. The Music Box was written by a musician and programmer.  
  60. This program results from my own desire to practice ear 
  61. training without the aid of another person.  All you need 
  62. is a PC with a sound card to take advantage of hours 
  63. of ear training at your own pace.

  65. To Install the Zip version

  67. Unzip the musicbox.zip into a directory such as c:\musicboxd.
  68. Then double click on musicbox.exe in File Manager or run 
  69. this file using the File - Run command in File Manager 
  70. or Program Manager.
