  40. *** Requirements ***
  41.  
  42.     - processor : 386 or Higher,
  43.     - memory : 4 Mo,
  44.     - disk space : 5 Mo free space recommended,
  45.     - midi card with Windows drivers installed,
  46.     - operating system : dos 3.3 or higher / Windows 3.1 or higher.
  47.       smardrv or another disk cache is recommended,
  48.     - screen : VGA (640*480 16 colors) or higher.

  51. *** Installation ***
  52.  
  53.     If you received this version of SoundLib on a floppy disk please
  54.     follow the instructions on the disk label to install SoundLib.
  55.  
  56.     If you received this version of SoundLib in a ZIP file, first
  57.     extract the files to a blank floppy (or in an empty temporary directory), 
  58.     then activate the Program Manager, select Run from the File menu, 
  59.     type A:INSTALL.EXE (or the complete path for INSTALL.EXE) , press the 
  60.     Enter key, and follow the prompts.
  61.  
  62.     Windows 95 users can also activate the "Add/Remove Programs" item from
  63.     the control panel.
  64.  
  65.     If you are upgrading from an older version, you may whish to read
  66.     the files whatsnew.txt and upgrade.txt for instructions.

  68. *** Warning ***
  69.  
  70. Please remember that if you upload a bank to your synth using SoundLib, 
  71. it will overwrite the previous patches ; so you should save them first.
  72. Also, using the test buttons will ovewrite the edit buffer ; so beware
  73. if you were editing a sound !
  74.  
  75. On the Kawai K1, K1m, K1r, K1II, there is no edit buffer addressable by
  76. midi, so on these synths the first location of the internal bank is
  77. overwriten when you use the Test feature.
