  8. ------------------
  9. The following was added in without documentation in the
  10. help file:
  11.  
  12. 1)  Double clicking on any scroll bar in the lower tool bar
  13.     will bring up a dialog box to change the value by numeric
  14.     entry.
  15. 2)  Right clicking on the instrument display box above the
  16.     key in the main window (on the left) will do the same
  17.     as selecting the INSTRUMENT.. menu item.

  19. What the Program Is and What You Need To Use It

  21. Music Draw is a Windows(TM) 3.1 based music entry program which  
  22. lets you enter MIDI information in an easy way.  The user  
  23. interface is object oriented and much information is hidden  
  24. so creating a song by mouse doesn't have to be a lot of  
  25. work.  This program is NOT a sequencer or a music notation  
  26. program, though it may look like one in certain ways. 
  27.  
  28. To run Music Draw, you will need (minimum): 
  29.  
  30. -    GS Standard MIDI Synthesizer 
  31. -    MIDI I/O Board (could be combined with synthesizer) 
  32. -    Windows 3.1 with drivers for MIDI I/O Board 
  33. -    Minimum of 2 Mbyte of RAM (probably 4) 
  34. -    Color VGA display 
  35. -    Mouse (2 Button minimum) 
  36.  
  37. Windows 3.1 must be configured as follows: 
  38.  
  39. -    MIDI driver for I/O is installed and working 
  40. -    "MIDI Mapper" is installed and configured for GS Synthesizer 
  41. -    have the following fonts installed (default Windows 3.1) 
  42.     -    MS Sans Serif 
  43.     -    Arial 
  44.  
  45. Music Draw is designed for the Roland SCC-1 GS Sound Card, which sounds 
  46. great and integrates a MIDI I/O card with the sound board as well.

  54.      The Music Draw software and documentation package is provided on 
  55. an AS-IS basis for use with NO guarantee or warranty of proper  
  56. operation.  You, the user of Music Draw, assume ALL risks of damages  
  57. and results upon installing and using Music Draw.  Installation or  
  58. usage of this product constitutes your acceptance of all terms and  
  59. conditions for Music Draw.

  61.      BunkCo does not warrant the fitness of Music Draw for operation.   
  62. BunkCo does not and cannot warrant operation of Music Draw will be  
  63. error-free or uninterrupted.  Under ABSOLUTELY NO circumstances will  
  64. BunkCo be liable to you for ANY damages, including lost profits, lost  
  65. savings, of any other incidental or consequential damages arising  
  66. out of the use or failure of Music Draw, even if BunkCo is advised  
  67. of the possibility of any damages.  BunkCo disclaims all other  
  68. warranties in regards to Music Draw.  In no event shall BunkCo's  
  69. liability for any damages ever exceed the price paid for the license  
  70. to use the software, regardless of the form of the claim.  Even if any  
  71. provision of any term or condition specified is found invalid,  
  72. void, or unenforceable, the validity of the balance of the terms  
  73. and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable according to  
  74. its terms.  Any action or proceeding brought by either party against 
  75. the other arising out of or related to the warranty shall be brought 
  76. only in a State or Federal Court of competent jurisdiction located in 
  77. Ventura County, California.  The parties hereby agree to in  
  78. personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  80.      Look, BunkCo is NOT responsible for anything.  If you do not or  
  81. cannot accept all terms and conditions specified, please REMOVE  
  82. Music Draw from your computer RIGHT NOW (for either the shareware  
  83. version or the registered version) and consult where you purchased  
  84. Music Draw (registered version only) for a refund.

  86. Installation Procedures:

  89. If you have not yet installed Music Draw:
  90. ********************************************

  92. 1)  From the Program Manager, select the FILE menu and then
  93.     the RUN... menu item.
  94.  
  95. 2)  Insert the Music Draw disk into the A: drive
  96.  
  97. 3)  Type 'A:INSTALL.EXE' in the RUN dialog command line
  98.     edit box and press the RETURN key.
  99.  
  100. 4)  Click on the INSTALL button.  Unless you've already
  101.     installed Music Draw before, the installer will ask
  102.     if you want to create the MUSDRW subdirectory.  Answer
  103.     YES to this.

  105. 5)  Click on the Music Draw icon within Program Manager
  106.     to run Music Draw.

  123.     selection is removed, even though the
  124.     help reference still mentions it.
