I have been teaching guitar for 9 years and have noticed that most incoming students lack many of the basic fundamentals that are required to become a good guitarist. This program has been designed to help you learn these fundamentals in a fun, interactive manor. ENJOY The Tonart Guitar Tutor Modules: I have included three different modules in this program. Each module has a specific purpose in helping you either understand or play the guitar better. They are Guitar Fretboard This module is designed to help you learn the notes on the fretboard. Over the years, I have noticed that most students have a very limited understanding of the names of the notes on the guitar fretboard. The main reason for this is that it isn't easy to learn all of the notes. There doesn't appear to be any simple pattern that the note names fall into. This module can be extremely helpful to your playing because, after a short while, you will begin to have a much greater understanding of how music and the guitar work. You will be able to move ideas up and down the neck and up and down octaves much more easily than ever before Interval Names This module is designed to help you memorize the relationships between note names Exercises This module is designed to give you many exercises to learn and practice. You can create your own exercises and share exercises with your friends. No music reading ability is required. All exercises are written in tablature and include rhythms. I have included many different methods for practicing these exercises also
