This archive includes a (reduced capability) functional demo of Matlab, an
engineering analysis package.
This demo package contains 276 functions for:
- Solving linear equations, eigenproblems, data analysis and matrix mathematics
- 2-D and 3-D plotting, including fishnet and contour plots
- Nonlinear optimization, numerical integration, and differential equation solution
- Convolution and polynomial arithmetic
- Special functions (Bessel, elliptic, gamma and error functions)
- FFTs, curve-fitting and cubic splines
This archive is being uploaded to the BMUG BBS in connection with my article,"Engineering Analysis on the Mac" in the Fall '92 BMUG Newsletter. The Mathworks has given it's permission to distribute this demo via bbs. This archive may be freely distributed provided it is not for profit, and no attempt is made to modify, translate, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the program, in whole or in part.
