Have you been searching all over the net for a good quick reference guide for HTML? Search no longer, you have arrived! And now the new and improved version 1.1!
When I was beginning to learn a bit about HTML, I always wondered why I could not find a straight forward list of tags and what they did. The books always seemed to go to long and the online stuff always seemed to be hard to follow. So, I decided to put something together that fills that niche. Yes, it does contain a mixture of tags from different levels of HTML standards and not necessarily all the tags that have been introduced. I'll leave it up to you to decide which you will and will not use according to your personal preferences. There are many new improvements to this version of the guide, be sure to the version history on the "Contact Us" page for those updates!
This is a document that you can contribute to. If you see any part that could use some correction, improvement or otherwise needs help, please contact me using the information included in this document. I am sure their are mistakes, so if you could help me out by finding them and letting me know, that would be a big help! If I ever find the time, there will also be an HTML primer available much like this guide.

• Search will find each occurance (in order) of any text you input
• Quick List is a straight list of HTML tags with buttons which jump you to the
applicable description.
• Description is a (hopefully concise) explanation of HTML tags.
• Examples shows how the HTML tags would be laid out in code format.
• On The Web are buttons on the Examples page that jump you straight into your
browser to see how the tag actually looks when put into use.**See note below.
• Special Characters new to version 1.1! ISO characters and their equivalents.
Be sure to use the Search capability, this makes the guide a great resource while you are writing your HTML. Just click the button and then enter the tag you are looking for. Click 'OK' several times to jump straight through to the description and examples.
**Important note for the On The Web feature. If you change your options within Netscape to only check the document once per session, you can run the file offline from your cache. I had hoped to run this from a local file, but the logistics of it are not yet worked out. Look for this in a future release.
