  5. CONNECTIONS must be viewed with either Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and
  6. above, or Netscape Navigator 3.01 and above.

  8.                IMPORTANT NOTES AND LAST MINUTE INSTRUCTIONS:

  11. To best use your CONNECTIONS CD-ROM, you should be aware of the
  12. following issues:
  13.  
  14. *  Always make sure the CONNECTIONS CD is in your CD-ROM drive before
  15.    attempting to launch CONNECTIONS.
  16.  
  17. *  Please set your color display to 16-bit color or better. At lower
  18.    color depths, some of CONNECTIONS' features may not run properly.
  19.    In Windows 95, you can change your color depth from the Start bar
  20.    by selecting "Settings," then "Control Panels," then "Display."
  21.    Click on the "Settings" tab and adjust to either "16-bit" or
  22.    "24-bit".

  24. *  Netscape users: After installing CONNECTIONS, you might need to adjust
  25.    your view settings back. Simply start Netscape, go to 'View' and click
  26.    'Show Navigation Toolbar', then 'Show Location Toolbar.' This should
  27.    bring any buttons to the url address box back. Depending which
  28.    resolution you're running, the Netscape window might not load at full
  29.    view. Click on the maximize window button at the top right corner
  30.    (shaped like a square, in-between the _minimize button and X close
  31.    button) to run at full screen mode.

  33. *  If you are having difficulty using the Adobe Acrobat reader to
  34.    view the modem User Guides within CONNECTIONS: quit CONNECTIONS,
  35.    open the Acrobat Reader as a standalone application, and open
  36.    the appropriate user guide .PDF file from Acrobat's File menu.

  61. *  Netscape and Adobe Acrobat: The first time you click on a pdf file while
  62.    running in Netscape, the file will load behind your CONNECTIONS screen.
  63.    To view the pdf, just click on the 2nd Netscape icon in your taskbar, and
  64.    it will load to the front. Any other pdfs launched after this will
  65.    automatically launch in the foreground.
  66.  
  67. *  Windows 3.1 and Internet Explorer 4.01: If you see a "WINDOWS ONLY"
  68.    message for some products on the CONNECTIONS CD, follow these simple
  69.    directions.
  70.    -If you're running CONNECTIONS, exit the program.
  71.    -Go to the 'Program Manager' and open Internet Explorer 4.01, then close it.
  72.    -Go back and run CONNECTIONS again. The "INSTALL SOFTWARE" button should
  73.     now be available for all the programs that work with Windows 3.1.
