  5. I.  Introduction
  6. ================
  7. In Windows 95 version OSR2.0 or earlier, the Univeral Serial Bus (USB)
  8. and the PCI to ISA Bridge devices from the Intel 430TX chipset mainboard 
  9. cannot be correctly recognised and the drivers for these devices were not
  10. included too.  So after installation of the Windows 95, there will always
  11. be a QUESTION MARK next to these 2 devices.  Indicating that the the driver
  12. is not installed or the device is not working properly.

  14. The problem is that Windows 95 OSR2.0 or earlier version, were released 
  15. before the 430TX chipset hit the market.  So these earlier version of the 
  16. OS, do not have the correct drivers build-in.
  17.  
  18. In order to resolve this problem, we are offering this patch program, to 
  19. allow Windows 95 to correctly detect the devices.  After installing this 
  20. program, you will find that both of these devices show they are working 
  21. properly.

  24. II. Files
  25. =================
  26. The files are:

  28. --  README.TXT   - This ReadMe file.
  29. --  TX95V14.EXE - This Program file
  30.  
  31. III. Installation
  32. =================
  33.    Step 1.) Explore the PCHPIIX4.EXE.
  34.    Step 2.) Run PCHPIIX4.EXE in Windows 95 environment.
  35.    Step 3.) Select 'OK' to implement patch.
  36.    Step 4.) Windows 95 will display messages as patch finished, Press 'OK' 
  37.             button to reboot.
  38.    Step 5.) When Windows 95 restarted, it will display messages that it had
  39.             detected various new hardware components in the system, and
  40.             proceed with its own installation procedure.  When prompted to
  41.             restart Windows, click Yes to restart Windows. This may repeat
  42.             for several times. Finally when Windows 95 complete its bootup
  43.             procedure, check the Device Manager again.  You will see that
  44.             all devices show it is working normally.
