  22. The file INTWIN.HLP was compiled from Ralf Brown's Interrupt List release 55
  23. with Christian Mueller-Planitz's and Bent Lynggaard's program INT2WHLP.

  25. INTWIN.HLP is a WINHELP input file and facilitates displaying the Interrupt
  26. List in hypertext format in a Windows environment. INTWIN has online help
  27. and hints.

  29. WinHelp 4.00 Limitations
  30. ========================
  31. It appears that WinHelp v. 4.00 coming with Windows 95 has a limited keyword
  32. capacity, 32767 keys. It was unable to display the search index for
  33. intwin.hlp release 48, which had 34947 keywords. Release 49 and later
  34. releases omit some keywords, and release 55 has 31854. See also intwin.hlp's

  37. Full Text Search Utility
  38. ========================
  39. This release of INTWIN includes a Full Text Search utility from Oxford
  40. Computer Consultants. To use the FTS facility, copy HINTSRCH.DLL from the
  41. HINTSRCH.ZIP package to your Windows or Windows System directory. Use the
  42. "Find Text" button on WinHelp's button bar to invoke the search. HINTSRCH.DLL
  43. is a special version of Oxford Computer Consultants FTS utility that works
  44. only with INTWIN. See the text file in their package for further information.

  46. Patching
  47. ========
  48. INTWIN uses a secondary window to display tables. Secondary windows in help
  49. files have their initial position and size defined as part of the help file.
  50. These properties are defined as fractions of the screen. Almost the whole
  51. screen is defined for the tables in INTWIN.HLP, ideal for a 640x480 display.
  52. However, this is not ideal for high resolution screens, and to facilitate
  53. patching INTWIN.HLP for other graphics platforms, the program WH_wEdit is
  54. included in a separate subpackage, WH_WE120.ZIP. For more information, see
  55. the README file in that package. The package is also available from SimTel
  56. mirrors directory simtelnet/win3/winhelp. Note that version 1.11+ of
  57. WH_wEdit includes a macro editor. Use the macro editor with care, it can
  58. delete or change vital information from the help file's macros section.

  60. Help and Hints
  61. ==============
  62. The files I2W_HH.* contain the text from INTWIN's Help and Hints topics. If
  63. you want to print I2W_HH.DOC, read it into MS Word for Windows or another
  64. word processor capable of reading Word v. 2.0 format, and edit the page
  65. formatting and numbering to your likings before printing.
