  17. USER VERSION: 320SET.EXE  - Should be shipped with adapter to allow
  18. users and installers jumperless board setup. Will not allow changes to
  19. manufacturer choices for RAM SIZE , RAM SPEED and Ethernet Address.

  21. /P:<PORT>    Looks for the VL320T adapter at <PORT> I/O address only.
  22. /M        Runs this utility forcing a monochrome display

  27. AUTOMATIC ADAPTER DETECTION
  28. ---------------------------

  30. When this utility is run without any command line switches, it will search for
  31. the VL320T board scanning all addresses supported by the VL320T from I/O 100h
  32. to 0ffffh. In the event that there is a conflict with other devices and the
  33. utility is not able to find the adapter, please try the following:
  34.  
  35. - If you know where the board is, you can use the /P:<PORT> option
  36. - Otherwise, disable the EEPROM (DIP SWITCH 0 ON), reset or power up the machine
  37.   switch DIP SWITCH 0 off again. The board will be then at I/O address 300H.
  38.   Modify the actual configuration to place the adapter in a safe I/O address.

  41. UPDATE FILES OPTIONS
  42. --------------------

  44. This utility can create or modify the NET.CFG for Novell ODI and PROTOCOL.INI
  45. for NDIS configuration files. In case there isn't an entry for the VL320T
  46. board it will be created; if there is one or more entries for the VL320T, the
  47. first one will be modified to reflect the information of the Actual
  48. Configuration of the adapter (the one selected by the DIP switches).
