- OS/2 Drivers
-
- This file provides driver installation and un-installation procedures for
- IBM OS/2 v2.x and Warp 3.0. There are three other driver files under the
- \OS2DRV directory of the driver diskette:
- => TMSCSIM.ADD is the DC-390's OS/2 driver that is fully compliant with
- OS/2 v2.x and Warp 3.0
- => TMSCSIM.DDP is the installation instructions file for TMSCSIM.EXE
- => TMSCSIM.EXE is the file that searches for the DC-390

- < Installing OS/2 together with DC-390's driver >
- The following procedures are for OS/2 that is not installed on the computer or
- your upgrading to another version of OS/2:
-
- 1. Duplicate a copy for the Diskette 1 of OS/2. (Let's call it Duplicated
- diskette.)
- 2. Copy the TMSCSIM.ADD, which is in the \OS2DRV directory of DC-390's
- driver diskette, to the root directory of the Duplicated diskette.
- 3. Add the following line to the end of CONFIG.SYS file, which is in the
- Duplicated diskette:
- BASEDEV=TMSCSIM.ADD
- 4. Insert the Installation diskette of OS/2 to the floppy drive and re-boot
- the system to start installing. When system prompts you to insert
- Diskette 1 you then insert the Duplicated diskette instead. Refer to
- the OS/2 installation procedures to complete.
- Note: for CD-ROM installation, do not set the SCSI ID of CD-ROM to 0, 1, or 7.
