- Windows 95 Turbo Display Driver Installation Instructions

- 1. Insert the "Windows 95 Display Driver Diskette" into drive A
- 2. Press the right button of mouse in the Windows 95 wallpaper area
- 3. Select "Properties"
- 4. Choose the "Settings" Tab in the "Display Properties" window
- 5. Select "Change Display Type"
- 6. Select "Change" in the "Adapter Type" section
- 7. Select "Have Disk"
- 8. In the "Install from Disk" window change the
- "Copy manufacture's files from A:" to
- "Copy manufacture's files from A:\WIN95"
- 9. Select "OK" in the "Install from Disk" window
- 10. Select "OK" in the "Select Device" window
- 11. After all drivers are copied, select "Close" in the "Change Display Type"
- window
- 12. Select "Apply" or "Close" in the "Display" window
- 13. Restart Windows 95

- Trouble Shooting:

- Q: Use the Refresh Rate Control in the Display Property Sheet to switch
- the display card to the high frequency (e.g.120Hz), and there is no
- video in the monitor (Cause of the monitor does not support this
- high frequency mode). After the PC is power off and then power on.
- But the Windows 95 always set to the high frequency mode.
- How can I change the display card back to the low frequency mode ?

- A: Solution 1: Change the Windows 95 to the "Safe mode" and Re-Setup
- the Windows settings as the following steps:

- Step 1: Power on the PC
- Step 2: Press F5 to enter the "safe mode" or
- press F8 to enter the booting selection menu ans then
- select the "safe mode"
- Step 3: Run the "settings" in the Display Property
- Step 4: Select the mode your wanted
- Step 5: Select the "Apply" button
- Step 6: Restart the Windows 95

- Solution 2: Change the Windows 95 to the "Safe mode" and Re-Install
- the Windows 95 Display Driver as the following steps:

- Step 2: Press F5 to enter the "safe mode" or
