  2. Windows 95 Turbo Display Driver Installation Instructions

  5.  1. Insert the "Windows 95 Display Driver Diskette" into drive A
  6.  2. Press the right button of mouse in the Windows 95 wallpaper area
  7.  3. Select "Properties"
  8.  4. Choose the "Settings" Tab in the "Display Properties" window
  9.  5. Select "Change Display Type"
  10.  6. Select "Change" in the "Adapter Type" section
  11.  7. Select "Have Disk"
  12.  8. In the "Install from Disk" window change the
  13.     "Copy manufacture's files from A:" to
  14.     "Copy manufacture's files from A:\WIN95"
  15.  9. Select "OK" in the "Install from Disk" window
  16. 10. Select "OK" in the "Select Device" window
  17. 11. After all drivers are copied, select "Close" in the "Change Display Type"
  18.     window
  19. 12. Select "Apply" or "Close" in the "Display" window

  24. Trouble Shooting:

  27.  Q: Use the Refresh Rate Control in the Display Property Sheet to switch
  28.     the display card to the high frequency (e.g.120Hz), and there is no
  29.     video in the monitor (Cause of the monitor does not support this
  30.     high frequency mode). After the PC is power off and then power on.
  31.     But the Windows 95 always set to the high frequency mode.
  32.     How can I change the display card back to the low frequency mode ?

  34.  A: Solution 1: Change the Windows 95 to the "Safe mode" and Re-Setup
  35.                 the Windows settings as the following steps:

  37.                 Step 1: Power on the PC
  38.                 Step 2: Press F5 to enter the "safe mode" or
  39.                         press F8 to enter the booting selection menu ans then
  40.                         select the "safe mode"
  41.                 Step 3: Run the "settings" in the Display Property
  42.                 Step 4: Select the mode your wanted
  43.                 Step 5: Select the "Apply" button
  44.                 Step 6: Restart the Windows 95

  46.     Solution 2: Change the Windows 95 to the "Safe mode" and Re-Install
