  3.         This modem supports both Plug & Play mode and Non Plug & Play mode.
  4. The mode configuration is set by jumper settings. User should set the modem
  5. into P&P mode when using in Windows 95. In the other hand, user should set
  6. the modem into non P&P mode when using in Non-Windows 95 operating system.

  9. (A)   Windows 95 Modem Driver File
  10.  
  11.       The Win95drv.inf file is a driver file for Windows 95. This file is used
  12. for modem installation in Windows 95. In Windows 95, the PnP modem will be
  13. found automatically. Then Windows 95 will query you for the driver used by this
  14. modem. Insert your driver diskette and select the suitable modem type.

  16.       If your modem does not support Plug & Play mode, do the following steps:
  17.       (1)       Make sure the commport of the modem does not conflict with
  18.                 other hardware in your PC system.
  19.       (2)       Boot up the Windows 95 and click the Modem icon inside the
  20.                 Control Panel to install your modem.
  21.       (3)       Click "Next" to run the "Add New Hardware Wizard". Then
  22.                 Windows 95 will look for your new hardware.
  23.       (4)       After the "detection Progress" finish, Windows 95 will find
  24.                 your new communication port.
  25.       (5)       Then click "Finish" bar to continue install the modem.
  26.       (6)       Click "Next" bar in the "Install New Modem" display to let
  27.                 Windows 95 to scan your modem type.
  28.       (7)       Insert the driver diskette and click the "Have Disk" bar to
  29.                 select the correct modem type.
  30.       (8)       Now, you can install the bundle software to optimize your
  31.                 modem features.

  37.                 commports and modem settings, please refer to your User Guide
  38.                 of Windows 95.

  40. (B)   Windows 95 Serial Wave Driver File
  41.  
  42.       The Cir-Wave.inf file is a Serial Wave driver file for windows 95. If your
  43. Windows 95 has been installed the "Unimodem V" function. Then this file will be
  44. required by Windows 95 after you installed the modem driver Win95drv.inf .
  45. Unimodem V is a special function for Windows 95.For detail informations, Please
  46. contact Microsoft.
