  3. Corel Photo-Paint
  4.  
  5. KPT can be set up to work with Corel Photo-Paint three
  6. different ways. 
  7.  
  8. * We recommend using the setup from within Photo-Paint.
  9.  
  10. ( I ) 
  11. To Setup from within Photo-Paint.
  12.  
  13. 1. Run Photo-Paint.
  14. 2. Select Preferences under the Special menu.
  15. 3. Select Advanced.
  16. 4. Select Insert in the plug-in directories group.
  17. 5. Select the directory where your KPT plug-in filters are
  18.    located.
  19. 6. Click OK twice.
  20. 7. The plug-ins will be loaded at this point. There is no
  21.    need to restart Photo-Paint.

  23. ( II ) 
  24. To modify the CORELPNT.INI:
  25.  
  26. 1. Locate the file CORELPNT.INI in the COREL50\CONFIG\ 
  27.    direcory. Open this file with a text editor such as
  28.    Windows Notepad.
  29. 2. Modify the line that points to the directory where the
  30.    filters are located, this will be  in the [PluginFilters]
  31.    section. The line must begin with Dirs=.  For example:
  32.  
  33.    Dirs=C:\COREL50\PLUGINS\;
  34.    or
  35.    Dirs=C:\kpt;C:\COREL50\PLUGINS\;
  36.  
  37.    NOTE: Each directory path must be separated with a
  38.    semicolon.

  40. 3. Save the changes to CORELPNT.INI.

  43. Install the KPT filters to the Corel plugins directory.
