  4.     1. The default I/O port, DMA channel, IRQ settings are:

  6.        I/O Port:           250H-25FH
  7.        DMA channel:        6
  8.        Audio/Video IRQ:    15

  10.        If these setting conflict with the other add-on cards, please
  11.        run the Setup program to change the settings.

  13.     2. You must disable the CD-ROM cache of SMARTDRV.EXE:

  15.              C:\DOS\SMARTDRV /U
  16.  
  17.     3. Please make sure the virtual device driver LRVDMAD.386 is loaded
  18.        when the error message "Cannot allocate memory below 1MB" occurs.
  19.        Verify the SYSTEM.INI in the Windows directory:

  24.        DEVICE=C:\MPMOVIE\LRVDMAD.386    <== this line must be added

  27.        The Windows can not boot when more than one LRVDMAD.386 are running.

  29.     4. For VideoCD/CD-I support,Check with your dealer to ensure compatibility
  30.        of your CD-ROM drive.

  32.     5. You must use polling I/O instead of DMA transfer in the most drivers of
  33.        CD-ROM drives.
  34.  
  35.     6. You must set the video frequency to 60 Hz for NTSC system.
  36.        (50 Hz for PAL system)

  38.     7. When you run mpsetup.exe, the MCI driver also will be installed to your
  39.        Windows at the same time.

  41.     8. Your MoviePlus Player does not access any upper memory, if you are experienced
  42.        any problems with EMM386.EXE,  please do check the other add-on cards
  43.        configuration.
