- 1. The default I/O port, DMA channel, IRQ settings are:

- I/O Port: 250H-25FH
- DMA channel: 6
- Audio/Video IRQ: 15

- If these setting conflict with the other add-on cards, please
- run the Setup program to change the settings.

- 2. You must disable the CD-ROM cache of SMARTDRV.EXE:

- C:\DOS\SMARTDRV /U

- 3. Please make sure the virtual device driver LRVDMAD.386 is loaded
- when the error message "Cannot allocate memory below 1MB" occurs.
- Verify the SYSTEM.INI in the Windows directory:

- [386Enh]
- ...
- DEVICE=C:\MPMOVIE\LRVDMAD.386 <== this line must be added
- ...

- The Windows can not boot when more than one LRVDMAD.386 are running.

- 4. For VideoCD/CD-I support,Check with your dealer to ensure compatibility
- of your CD-ROM drive.

- 5. You must use polling I/O instead of DMA transfer in the most drivers of
- CD-ROM drives.

- 6. You must set the video frequency to 60 Hz for NTSC system.
- (50 Hz for PAL system)

- 7. When you run mpsetup.exe, the MCI driver also will be installed to your
- Windows at the same time.

- 8. Your MoviePlus Player does not access any upper memory, if you are experienced
- any problems with EMM386.EXE, please do check the other add-on cards
- configuration.
