- 3. REC688.EXE
-
- REC688.EXE can record and playback .WAV files. The length of
- reocrding is not limited by available system memory, but only
- limited by available disk space.
-
- *** CAUTION ***
- If you open an existing .WAV file and you don't want to modify or
- delete it, DO NOT PRESS the record button. Or else, the previous
- recording in the file is lost. This is because REC688 records
- directly to the file rather than to system memory.
-
- REC688 also includes Volume/Mixer Control and Recording Control.
-
- Known Problem:
- 1. Do not click on any memu item during playback or recording.
- The system may hang or stop playback/recording.
- 2. If you record in 16-bit stereo 44kHz format, save the recording
- into a file, then re-open the file to play. If you attempt to
- play immediately after you stop recording, some discontinuity
- may appear in playback.
-
-
- 4. ESSVOL.EXE
-
- Type "essvol /?" to see the command line usage format.
