  1. INSTALLING THE AUDIORACK32
  2.  
  3. You must have Windows95 installed prior to using the AudioRack32.
  4. After placing the AudioRack32 disk in a floppy drive, click START on the
  5. taskbar and choose RUN from the popup menu.
  6.  
  7. In the Run dialog box, type the letter of the drive and "setup" (for
  8. example, a:\setup), then click OK.
  9.  
  10. The first AudioRack32 Setup dialog box appears. Note the instructions,
  11. then click NEXT to proceed or CANCEL to leave Setup.

  13. Next the Choose Destination Location dialog box appears. Click NEXT to
  14. install the AudioRack32 in the default directory or BROWSE to choose a
  15. different directory. When you are done click OK or CANCEL to return to 
  16. the Choose Destination Location dialog box.

  18. If the directory you designate doesn't exist, you will be asked to 
  19. confirm your selection. Click YES to proceed or NO to go back and enter
  20. a new destination directory.

  22. Once you have chosen the default directory or entered a directory of 
  23. your own choosing, the Setup program will install the AudioRack32.

  27. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  28.  
  29. LONG FILE NAMES AND THE AUDIO RECORDER
  30. The Audio Recorder is a 16-bit application. For that reason, it has 
  31. trouble with long file names. This may cause an error message if you 
  32. click the EDIT button on the Digital Audio Player to edit a wave file 
  33. which happens to be in a directory with a long file name. However, you
  34. can still load the file from the Audio Recorder window.
