  2.       How to upgrade the E2864I ISDN modem to E2864(D) analog modem
  3.      ---------------------------------------------------------------

  5. 1. Replace the ISDN module of E2864I with the enclosed E2864 DAA module:
  6.    1) Power off the E2864I.
  7.    2) Remove the upper case of E2864I.
  8.    3) Unplug the ISDN module of E2864I.
  9.       Please unscrew the DAA module from the mother board with a Philips screw 
  10.       driver.  And then unplug the DAA module.
  11.    4) Plug in the DAA module into the socket of E2864.
  12.       Please be careful in aligning the pin to pin connection between DAA
  13.       module and the socket of E2864I.
  14.       Use a Philips screw driver to fix the DAA module on the mother board
  15.       tightly.
  16.    5) Assemble the E2864 with the upper case.

  18. 2. Upgrade the firmware with the file in the enclosed disk:
  19.    1) Power on the E2864.
  20.    2) Use the "ATUPX" command to upgrade the firmware with the "XMODEM" 
  21.       upload protocol. This is the same procedure as in updating the
  22.       E2864 firmware.
