  35.         Here it is: Windows '98 Final release - Retail Full Install!

  37.         While every other group will be bringing you so many good programs
  38.         for this operating system, it's PWA that brings you the OS itself. 
  39.     It is fortunately for the user community that this is the case or 
  40.     you would probably have ended up with a ripped down release
  41.     from some other lame group missing important system files like 
  42.     KRNL386.exe, because disklimits are more important nowadays to these
  43.     people than a working release.

  53.     This *IS* final.  When you get your CD's, it's very likely the file
  54.     dates will differ as the dates get time stamped on the CD at pressing 
  55.     time, however if you CRC check the CD with this release, you'll see the 
  56.     files are all identical (make sure you use the FULL RETAIL CD to check, 
  57.     not an upgrade or OEM version).  We're just going to wait to release 
  58.     tnis to see if MS decides to make any last minute changes because 
  59.     of the stuff going on with the US Dept. of Justice.

  67.     The way this has been zipped up is as follows:

  69.     1 ZIP file labeled RETAIL FULL SETUP
  70.     21 ZIP files labeled Win98 CABs
  71.     Several ZIP files labelled online service clients (only necessary for AOL,
  72.     MSN, Compuserve, etc).
  73.  
  74.     You need to download the CABS and the RETAIL SETUP and unzip/unrar
  75.     everything into one directory.  The reason for this is that as soon
  76.     as I get install keys, I can release RETAIL UPGRADE, OEM FULL and
  77.     OEM UPGRADE versions and they will only take 4 meg each (the CAB zips
  78.     are generic thruout all these versions, I can just package up the 
  79.     differences in seperate zips to save everyone space and time).  You just
  80.     unzip whichever one you want into the same directory as the generic
  81.     CAB zips.
